Attorney General Jeff Sessions covering up scandal that could “demolish” Democrats’ ridiculous Russia collusion story

Attorney General Jeff Sessions appears to be helping the Democrats cover up a scandal that could “demolish” the Russia narrative. One reporter seems sure now that Imran Awan, the former tech guy for former DNC head Debbie Wasserman Schultz, is being given a reprieve.

Awan, regular readers might remember, was arrested at Washington Dulles Airport trying to fly back to his native Pakistan one day after smashed hard drives were recovered from his home by federal officials. He was charged, along with his wife, with bank fraud and conspiracy in the matter.

However, the case has been subject to repeated delays and seems to have mysteriously disappeared from the radar of practically anyone but investigative reporter Luke Rosiak with The Daily Caller. As a plea deal seems to be imminent, Rosiak has noted that Awan has been hiding assets and that his former business partner claims that data was given to the Pakistanis government by the Awan family, among other claims.

Rosiak claims that Awan may be behind a second data breech that hit the DNC before the election — something that could seriously damage the “Russia collusion” narrative for the Democrats.

“There was a second hack that occurred the same week that the DNC was breeched, the same week that WikiLeaks started putting up those DNC emails,” Rosiak said in an appearance on Lou Dobbs’ Fox Business Network show Tuesday. “The House of Representatives inspector general briefed that there was this ongoing hack by Pakistanis who the Democrats have hired as IT guys.”

That, obviously, would be the Awan family. Now, Rosiak says Awan is being protected for political reasons.

“Obviously, they would have been arrested immediately,” Rosiak said. “But think back, that Russia narrative they just decided to start pitching that very week. You know how tenuous it is, how backed by nothing it is.

“You throw into the mix arrests of Pakistanis hired by Democrats and unvetted for a similar hack at the identical time, the narrative about Russia would have been impossible to secure. And that’s all they care about is the narrative.”

Dobbs was frustrated that we didn’t see the Trump administration DOJ taking more action on this. Instead, as Fox News had reported, Awan may be offered a plea deal from the looks of things.

“The parties are currently exploring a possible resolution of this matter,” prosecutors wrote in a June 3 filing before a district judge in Washington. “Therefore, the parties are requesting additional time in which to explore that resolution.”

norm-al-180607

The Dobbs-Rosiak interview is HERE. (Rosiak’s “covering up” charge comes about the 5:10 mark.)

“Where is the Justice Department now? Why in the world aren’t we hearing about this from Jeff Sessions?” Dobbs asked.

“What it is, is that the handling of this case disproves the entire Russia narrative,” Rosiak responded. “They don’t care about hacking, they don’t care about foreign meddling. What they did in this case is knowingly allow the United States government to be hacked by Pakistanis for six months until right after the election so that they could peddle a phony narrative.”

Rosiak was even willing to go far enough to say that “what the Democrats did here is treason. They allowed the United States to continuously be hacked by the bad guys so that they could spin this Russia narrative.”

The Democrats have been willing to shield Awan nearly continuously, with Wasserman Schultz, the Florida Democrat, going as far as to label speculation over Awan before his arrest “Islamophobia.”

In spite of the fact that the Awan family were suspects in this hacking, Rosiak reports they had access to the House of Representatives’ computer network until Feb. 2, 2017 — nearly two weeks after Donald Trump was inaugurated. He also reported that physical evidence in the case kept disappearing — except, of course, for the laptop with the user name “RepDWS” which was left in a phone booth in the House Rayburn by Awan. We also know that Awan had all the passwords to Debbie Wasserman Schutz’s devices, as proved by the emails posted by WikiLeaks.

This is something many of us might call “problematic.”

Yet, these are the guys that the Justice Department seems more or less willing to pursue a plea deal with. We’d like to believe that the DOJ knows a bit more than we do about Awan’s level of culpability in this matter, but Rosiak’s reporting seems to indicate this is a case they might want to pursue with all due urgency instead of just going for a plea deal.

And Rosiak isn’t mincing his words about what’s really going on:  “The DOJ, under Jeff Sessions, is covering up a scandal that exposes the entire Russia narrative as a hoax,” he told Dobbs. “It is within Jeff Sessions’ power to demolish this Russia narrative once and for all, charge the Pakistanis with hacking Congress, and expose the Democrats’ hypocrisy and negligence.  This case is open and shut, and Jeff Sessions is refusing to bring the charges.”

That is a disturbing accusation.

Unless Awan can somehow provide the United States some evidence about the hack that leads to bigger things (preferably back in Pakistan or with the initials DWS) , this is a very big fish to simply let swim back into the lake with a mere plea deal.

Time for the Secret Swamp Boys to come clean…

With word that the Obama administration imbedded one, and possibly two, spies within the Trump campaign arrives a semi-new appellation for a government scandal: Spygate.

The press has adored its “hyphen-gates” since 1973.  Reporters are finding this gate much less pleasant.

There is a wide band of gentle and wise Americans who recognize that almost every word James Clapper and John Brennan say is an obfuscating lie.  They know that Comey is in on the lie and that Mueller is trying to perpetuate the lie.  Our absurd press dives into the muddle by claiming that the plant was put in place to protect Trump.  That is a lie barren of logic and rationality – the axiomatic whopper.

Some protection.  Trump has been the target of investigations from the moment he took office.

Boys, do you really think intelligent Americans are buying this shipment of hooey?

It’s time to get it all off your chest.  Americans know you abused your power in an effort to destroy a legally elected president of the United States.  You turned your back on all permissible precedent.  You abandoned any sense of morality and decency as you ran roughshod over the American people.  You might not like it, but our votes count, and we will be heard.

At this moment, the forgiving nature of the American people will probably allow them to walk away with a slap on the wrist.  We know that the Democratic Party still carries enough clout to keep these lads out of prison, and we know that the gargantuan monster of government bureaucracy is always reluctant to punish insiders who abuse their power.  The preferred option is an overgenerous retirement package.  Lois Lerner is a good example of how government swindlers are punished.

But that train is leaving the station.  There are limits to how much corruption Americans will accept.  Playing with our votes in a more outrageous manner than the Russians ever could is way beyond the point of toleration.  Conservative America has been scorned and subject to a growing level of accepted hate since 1973; we have achieved total saturation with elites who claim the moral high ground and then covertly stoop to despicable use of our institutions.

Regular ol’ conservative Americans are not the bad guys; they never were.

Boys, somewhere along your ostensible route of “public service,” you became the bad guys.  You are the black hats who shoot up the rights of others to steal an election, to steal away a president, and to steal democratic principles from a nation.  You are the enemies of freedom and liberty…and that makes you the enemies of America.

You should step out of the way now and let our chosen president be our president.  Soon there will be a massive demand for sentencing instead of retirement.

Coming clean is the best option.  You should grab it while the grabbing is good.

Americans seem to agree on at least one thing: They REALLY dislike the US government!

If there is one thing that Americans can agree on these days, it is the fact that most of us don’t like the government.

CBS News has just released an article entitled “Americans hate the U.S. government more than ever“, and an average of recent surveys calculated by Real Clear Politics found that 63 percent of all Americans believe the country is heading in the wrong direction and only 28 percent of all Americans believe that the country is heading in the right direction.  In just a few days the first real ballots of the 2016 election will be cast in Iowa, and up to this point the big story of this cycle has been the rise of “outsider” candidates that many of the pundits had assumed would never have a legitimate chance.  Donald Trump, Ted Cruz and Bernie Sanders have all been beneficiaries of the overwhelming disgust that the American people feel regarding what has been going on in Washington.

And it isn’t just Barack Obama or members of Congress that Americans are disgusted with.  According to the CBS News article that I referenced above, our satisfaction with various federal agencies has fallen to an eight year low…

A handful of industries are those “love to hate” types of businesses, such as cable-television companies and Internet service providers.

The federal government has joined the ranks of the bottom-of-the-barrel industries, according to a new survey from the American Customer Satisfaction Index. Americans’ satisfaction level in dealing with federal agencies –everything from Treasury to Homeland Security — has fallen for a third consecutive year, reaching an eight-year low.

So if we are all so fed up with the way that things are running, it should be easy to fix right?

Unfortunately, things are not so simple.

In America today, we are more divided as a nation than ever.  If you ask 100 different people how we should fix this country, you are going to get 100 very different answers.  We no longer have a single shared set of values or principles that unites us, and therefore it is going to be nearly impossible for us to come together on specific solutions.

You would think that the principles enshrined in the U.S. Constitution should be able to unite us, but sadly those days are long gone.  In fact, the word “constitutionalist” has become almost synonymous with “terrorist” in our nation.  If you go around calling yourself a “constitutionalist” in America today, there is a good chance that you will be dismissed as a radical right-wing wacko who probably needs to be locked up.

The increasing division in our nation can be seen very clearly during this election season.  On the left, an admitted socialist is generating the most enthusiasm of any of the candidates.  Among many Democrats today, Hillary Clinton is simply “not liberal enough” and no longer represents their values.

On the other end of the spectrum, a lot of Republican voters are gravitating toward either Donald Trump or Ted Cruz.  Both of those candidates represent a complete break from how establishment Republicans have been doing things in recent years.

Now don’t get me wrong – I am certainly not suggesting that we need to meet in the middle.  My point is that there is absolutely no national consensus about what we should do.  On the far left, they want to take us into full-blown socialism.  Those that support Donald Trump or Ted Cruz want to take us in a more conservative direction.  But even among Republicans there are vast disagreements about how to fix this country.  Establishment Republicans greatly dislike both Trump and Cruz, and they are quite determined to do whatever it takes to keep either of them from getting the nomination.  The elite have grown very accustomed to anointing the nominee from each party every four years, and so the popularity of Trump and Cruz is making them quite uneasy this time around.  The following comes from the New York Times

The members of the party establishment are growing impatient as they watch Mr. Trump and Mr. Cruz dominate the field heading into the Iowa caucuses next Monday and the New Hampshire primary about a week later.

The party elders had hoped that one of their preferred candidates, such as Senator Marco Rubio of Florida, would be rising above the others by now and becoming a contender to rally around.

The global elite gathered in Davos, Switzerland are also greatly displeased with Trump.  Just check out some of the words that they are using to describe him

Unbelievable“, “embarrassing” even “dangerous” are some of the words the financial elite gathered at the World Economic Forum conference in the Swiss resort of Davos have been using to describe U.S. Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump.

Although some said they still expected his campaign to founder before his party picks its nominee for the November election many said it was no longer unthinkable that he could be the Republican candidate.

The truth is that the Republican Party represents somewhere less than half the population in the United States, and today it is at war with itself.  Supporters of Trump have a significantly different vision of the future than supporters of Cruz, and the establishment wing wants nothing to do with either candidate.

A lot of people seem to assume that since Trump is leading in the polls that he will almost certainly get the nomination.

That is not exactly a safe bet.

It is my contention that the establishment will pull out every trick in the book to keep either him or Cruz from getting the nomination.  And in order to lock up the nomination before the Republican convention, a candidate will need to have secured slightly more than 60 percent of all of the delegates during the caucuses and the primaries.

The following is an excerpt from one of my previous articles in which I discussed the difficult delegate math that the Republican candidates are facing this time around…

It is going to be much more difficult for Donald Trump to win the Republican nomination than most people think.  In order to win the nomination, a candidate must secure at least 1,237 of the 2,472 delegates that are up for grabs.  But not all of them will be won during the state-by-state series of caucuses and primaries that will take place during the first half of 2016.  Of the total of 2,472 Republican delegates, 437 of them are unpledged delegates – and 168 of those are members of the Republican National Committee.  And unless you have been hiding under a rock somewhere, you already know that the Republican National Committee is not a fan of Donald Trump.  In order to win the Republican nomination without any of the unpledged delegates, Trump would need to win 60.78 percent of the delegates that are up for grabs during the caucuses and primaries.  And considering that his poll support is hovering around 30 percent right now, that is a very tall order.

In the past, it was easier for a front-runner to pile up delegates in “winner take all” states, but for this election cycle the Republicans have changed quite a few things.  In 2016, all states that hold caucuses or primaries before March 15th must award their delegates proportionally.  So when Trump wins any of those early states, he won’t receive all of the delegates.  Instead, he will just get a portion of them based on the percentage of the vote that he received.

In 2016, more delegates will be allocated on a proportional basis by the Republicans than ever before, and with such a crowded field that makes it quite likely that no candidate will have secured enough delegates for the nomination by the time the Republican convention rolls around.

If no candidate has more than 60 percent of the delegates by the end of the process, then it is quite likely that we will see the first true “brokered convention” in decades.

If we do see a “brokered convention”, that would almost surely result in an establishment candidate coming away with the nomination.  That list of names would include Bush, Rubio, Christie and Kasich.

And if by some incredible miracle either Trump or Cruz does get the nomination, the elite will move heaven and earth to make sure that Hillary Clinton ends up in the White House.

For decades, it has seemed like nothing ever really changes no matter which political party is in power, and that is exactly how the elite like it.  Our two major political parties are really just two sides of the same coin, and they are both leading this nation right down the drain.

NORM ‘n’ AL Note:  If it seems like the good ol’ USA is foundering like a ship in a storm, that’s because the USA very definitely IS foundering. Just like the Titanic, which although proclaimed unsinkable, hit an iceberg and took thousands of its passengers to a cold and watery grave, the USA, once the brightest light among countries anywhere on the planet, is very close to taking many millions of its own citizens to their graves. The demise of the Titanic was preventable by those at the helm. The demise of the USA is also preventable, but those at the helm are too busy re-arranging deck chairs while the ship they are supposed to be steering is heading straight for the rocks.

Americans used to have respect for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Now we have no respect for life: We murder little human beings with hardly a thought, and since Roe v. Wade became law, we have murdered nearly 60 million of them. We obviously have no respect for liberty, because we continue to do our best to enslave those in coming generations who have not a prayer of being able to repay the monstrous level of debt we continue to heap upon them. As for happiness, just ask yourself this very simple question: Am I happy? Do I like the fact that the US government is more restrictive than ever before? Does it make me happy to see our economy prevent millions of us from getting a job? Does it make me happy to see our Oval Office Occupant favor Muslims over Christians? Am I happy with a government that is now so big and clumsy and oppressive that it simply cannot get out of its own way and protect its citizens, which is its most basic obligation? If you want to experience first-hand just how big and clumsy and inept the US government really is, just get sick and try to get good, effective, first-rate health care. You stand a better chance of getting well in 36 other countries, because the US is now ranked 37th in quality of healthcare. (That ranking comes from the World Health Organization, WHO, which has been ranking the world’s quality of healthcare for decades. WHO knows what good healthcare is.)

Are you not yet sick and tired of politicians who seek office for their OWN benefit, and not that of the USA? You SHOULD be fighting mad by now, unless it makes you happy to live like a doormat. Do you think God is going to look with favor on a country that continues to kill its unborn by the millions? That has removed prayer from its schools in an all-out effort to remove God from its children? That has spared no expense to remove all references to the Creator from the everyday lives of its citizens? That has absolutely no respect for the truth of the Bible? Think again. You are now living in a country which is showing you very clearly what ONE NATION UNDER NO GOD looks like, feels like, and will be like, next week and next year.

US citizens are more confused than ever…

Well, here we are. A brand new year.

Trouble is, it looks a lot like the old year we just left.

Nothing seems to make sense so far in this new year, either…

2015 looks confused...

2015 looks pretty confused, just like 2014…

The two articles shown above were two of many on a well-known US and world news compilation website called WATCH.ORG. They were posted and shown just as we’ve copied them.

Apparently, Americans still admire greatly Dr. Billy Graham, the well-known evangelist who is now in his nineties.  We share that admiration. He has written many excellent Christian books; he has spoken to millions of people all over the world for more than 60 years, telling them of the great God who loves them and gave His own Son, Jesus Christ, as the only possible sacrifice to redeem us from our sins; and Dr. Graham has done all this with never a whiff of controversy or scandal.

As the second article will show, however, a US Army chaplain, a CHRISTIAN Chaplain who presumably was taken into the Army for the purpose of doing essentially the same thing as Rev. Graham, telling our Army troops about the same great God and the same great sacrifice, was reprimanded because he wanted to deliver that same message to the troops under his care.

Does this even begin to make sense to you? Of course it doesn’t. It can’t.

Was there a complaint against the chaplain? Yes. One complaint. An atheist trooper decided that the message coming from his chaplain was something that unbelieving soldier didn’t want to hear.

Most soldiers in the military, today and throughout history, had at least enough sense to think, “Gosh, I’m now in the military, there’s a pretty good chance that other people might be trying to kill me while I’m wearing this uniform, so maybe I should do a little homework on this God question. Maybe I should try to make sure the chaplain is right in what he’s been telling me.”

Is it hard to reach that point of deciding what’s right and what’s nonsense? Of course not. It’s easier now than it has ever been. Now you can sit in front of your computer and do nothing but click from one website to another to another. You don’t even have to go to all the effort required to actually lift a book off the shelf and open it.

Since it is now so totally simple to get the right information and make an informed decision which is going to effect your eternity, please allow us to suggest that you do it. Do not put it off. If you somehow manage to die tomorrow and face eternity, you must know what’s ahead of you. More than that, you must be PREPARED for what’s ahead of you.

Things are only going to get MORE CONFUSED and MORE CONFLICTED as we go forward into the rest of this year and those which may follow. How do we know? Because we read the Book. And we visit the website.

US foreign policy is failing dramatically. Why?

WHEN AMERICA WAS ATTACKED ON SEPTEMBER 11, 2001, ITS REACTION WAS TO DECLARE WAR ON TERROR. For the next 13 years the US fought to defeat tyranny, destroy weapons of mass destruction, and promote democracy and Western ideals. It was hoped that American firepower would make the world a better place.

The opposite happened.

On the Iraq and Afghanistan battlefields alone, some 2.5 MILLION American military men and women put their lives on the line. Yet an Iraqi civil war and an indefatigable Taliban are destroying everything America built to date. In Somalia and Yemen, American drones rain fire on enemies below, yet America’s allies are on the run. In Egypt, US pressure helped topple a dictator ally and replace him with a democratically elected terrorist who hated the US. Another coup soon followed, along with a new dictator. In Libya, America bombed Muammar Qadhafi. In his wake came warring militias with terrorist links, a murdered US ambassador plus three staff, and an ongoing deadly civil war that has killed tens of thousands.

America has great political and military power, but in locations all over the globe our foreign policy is failing dramatically. Why? The truth is that God is no longer on our side. The Bible says very clearly, “I will break the pride of your power…and your strength shall be spent in vain.” (Leviticus 26: 19-20). America continues to tell God over and over again, in many different ways, that we do not need Him or want Him. We have a president who tells us he is quoting from the Bible but has no clue that his quoted passage does not appear anywhere in Scripture.  We have a Supreme Court which upholds abortion and same-sex marriage, and our churches think nothing of installing gay pastors in their pulpits.

The following examples show further the truth of the above Leviticus prophecy.

LIBYA

In 1967 Co. Muammar Qadhafi inherited one of the poorest nations in Africa. By the time he was assinated, Libya was Africa’s wealthiest nation. Libya had the highest live expectancy and highest gross domestic product per capita on the entire continent. Fewer people lived below the poverty line than in the Netherlands. Libya was sometimes referred to as the Switzerland of Africa. Wealth was being generated; schools hospitals were running and were free. In 2011 the US led an air campaign supporting the “Arab Spring” and Qadhafi was ousted from leadership. The result was catastrophic. Oil production was cut in half to 810,000 barrels per day. Since 2011, 32,000 people have been killed. The nation is locked in war. It is a terrorist haven, and some 250 militias now control what once was the wealthiest country in Africa.

IRAQ

In 2003 Iraq was invaded by a US-led coalition to remove dictator Saddam Hussein, destroy weapons of mass destruction, and create a democracy. Eight years later, 7,888 US soldiers and contractors were dead, along with 190,000 Iraqi civilians. Total cost including reconstruction: $2.2 TRILLION.  Less than two years after America said “mission complete,” the US-built Iraqi army had virtually collapsed, the radical Islamic State had proclaimed itself to be in charge, Iraq was engulfed in a Sunnis vs. Shiites civil war, and over 24,000 more people were dead. Today, Iraq is essentially split into three warring regions: the area controlled by the Islamic State in the middle, a Kurdish autonomous region in the north, and a Shiite-controlled south. On November 7th, the US president was forced to send 1500 additional US troops back to Iraq to support the 1500 who had previously returned. Obviously, our exit from Iraq could be called nothing if not premature.

SOMALIA

Washington is trying to help the Somali government to (1) retake control of vast parts of its country lost to the Iran-sponsored terror group called Al-Shabaab, and (2) maintain a foothold on the strategic Gulf of Aden waterway. In October of 2013 Mr. Obama approved the sending of US military to act as advisers.  So far about 220 terrorist operatives have been killed by US drone strikes, while at least $700 million has been spent propping up the Somali National Army and training African Union forces to combat Al-Shabaab. So far, this terror group appears to be completely unfazed and undeterred.

EGYPT

In early 2011 America helped push long-standing ally Hosni Mubarak from the presidency. This ushered in an era of instability and violence. Three leaders later, GDP growth has been cut in half from 4 percent to less than 2 percent; unemployment has jumped from 9 percent to 12 percent; and external debt has climbed from $34.7 billion to $45.3 billion. At the same time vehicle thefts have quadrupled; homicides have tripled; and armed robberies have risen from 233 the year before Mubarak’s resignation, to 2807 in the year 2012. Politically this one-time US ally now views America with skepticism and suspicion.

YEMEN

In 2009 Obama approved a drone-bombing campaign to help the Yemeni government combat Iran-backed Houthi rebels in the north. America’s involvement turned the local citizenry against the ruling government. By 2011, the Yemeni army and US drones were also fighting Al Qaeda in the south. Today the country is deep in civil war, its capital city is controlled by the Houthi, and the US-backed government faces collapse.

AFGHANISTAN

After more than 13 years of war and the death of Osama bin Laden, America is bringing its troops home. The war cost $710 billion and the lives of 2349 American military. After spending $56 billion to equip the Afghan army, it is unclear whether that army will continue to fight the Taliban, or switch sides and join it. At the start of this war the Taliban consisted of approximately 2000 terrorist radicals; that number has now swelled to 60,000. The US has failed in other ways, too. We invested nearly $8 billion in trying to dismantle opium production, but the opium crop is at least twice as large as when we first entered the country. Because we acted as we did in Iraq and announced ahead of time our planned Afghan departure date, Afghan leaders now appear to be cutting deals with the Taliban in preparation for our impending exit.
