“Deep State” rats scurrying for cover as DOJ lowers the boom and McCabe throws Comey under the bus

When Attorney General (AG)  Jeff Sessions issued a responsive letter to Senator Charles Grassley, Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Rep. Robert Goodlatte Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, and Rep. Trey Gowdy, Chairman of the Government Oversight and Reform Committee, in regards to their request for a second special counsel, the MSM and pundits across the board highlighted certain aspects of the letter, while ignoring the much bigger picture.

The media focused on the fact that at this time the AG was not assigning a second special counsel to investigate the FISA court abuses that were revealed during the multiple congressional investigations, and the MSM highlighted the previously unknown name of the United States Attorney that was assigned the task of investigating numerous issues relating to misconduct and possible criminal actions on the part of officials within the intelligence community.

DOJ LOWERS THE BOOM ON THE DEEP STATE

While Sessions has been criticized for not assigning a second special counsel, a look at the surrounding circumstances, along with the new mandated review by the DOJ’s Office of Inspector General, and the timing of the two announcements, makes a persuasive case that the DOJ just lowered the boom on deep state members of the intelligence community.

In Sessions’ response letter he revealed the name of the U.S. Attorney that has been tasked with investigating the numerous issues of misconduct and possible criminal actions of senior level intelligence community members from a  variety of different agencies, often referred to as deep state members. That U.S. Attorney is John W. Huber out of Utah. Huber is a career prosecutor, first nominated by Barack Obama, and resigned in March 2017, per standard procedure when an opposing party wins and election, then re-nominated by President Trump in June 2017, and unanimously confirmed by the United States Senate to an additional four-year term.

HatchStatement2.jpg

What has been downplayed or even ignored by some is that Huber was not just assigned to this issue, but according to Department of Justice spokesperson Sarah Isgur Flores, Huber was tasked with this “in advance of the Nov. 13th letter” sent by Assistant Attorney General Stephen Boyd to the House Judiciary Committee, as reported by The Daily Beast.

It is also noteworthy that in the Sessions’ letter, it specifies that Huber is working “in cooperation” with the DOJ’s Office of Inspector General. The OIG, in their previous investigation in regards to FBI/DOJ actions taken in relation to the Hillary Clinton private server/classified email investigation, managed to uncover a number of issues that has caused the reassignment and demotions of a number of employees, uncovering damning texts by FBI special agents, and the termination of former FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe.

Many of the revelations we have noted over the past months in regards to the FISA abuses were uncovered in the course of the IG’s investigation into FBI/DOJ’s actions in regards to the Clinton investigation.

During the course of the original investigation, the IG uncovered misconduct and possible criminal actions which was outside the scope of the original mandate, hence the March 28, 2018 release by the OIG, announcing a new review:

Department of Justice (DOJ) Inspector General Michael E. Horowitz announced today that, in response to requests from the Attorney General and Members of Congress, the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) will initiate a review that will examine the Justice Department’s and the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) compliance with legal requirements, and with applicable DOJ and FBI policies and procedures, in applications filed with the U.S. Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC) relating to a certain U.S. person. As part of this examination, the OIG also will review information that was known to the DOJ and the FBI at the time the applications were filed from or about an alleged FBI confidential source. Additionally, the OIG will review the DOJ’s and FBI’s relationship and communications with the alleged source as they relate to the FISC applications.

The key here is that much of what is being hailed as a “new” review,” includes information that is already publicly available after being exposed during the course of the previous investigation, so this OIG release, was nothing more than offering an “official mandate,” after already exposing much of misconduct and possible criminal activity on the part of former Obama officials, and current FBI/DOJ employees.

The OIG cannot prosecute, but they can make criminal referrals, which is why Huber was assigned to work “in cooperation,” with the Inspector General, because he can, and most likely already has, convened a Grand Jury, in order to prosecute the crimes the IG has already uncovered.

Another point that went largely ignored is that Huber is not the only prosecutor assigned to this, but is running a team of “senior prosecutors,” with access to the the investigative arm of nearly 500 people that are employed by the Office of Inspector General, and which office has just been given a large increase in funding as part of the mammoth and unpopular omnibus bill.

George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley calls this a “brilliant move,” saying “What he did is he essentially combined the power of the Inspector General with the powers of an aligned prosecutor. So this prosecutor does have not just the experience and training to look for a criminal case, he has the ability to move a case of that kind.”

Turley asserts that people like Andrew McCabe and former FBI director James Comey should be very concerned over this.

The fact that former FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe has already set up a GoFundMe account for legal fees, despite being worth millions already, tells us he understands that with the IG’s newly revealed mandate, along with the powerful combination, as Turley explained above, of Huber working in cooperation with the IG, his goose, Comey’s, and a number of others, may already be cooked.

What has largely been ignored is that Huber, along with the IG, has been working this case for over five months already, and amazingly, until Jeff Sessions named him in the letter to congress, nobody knew who he was, nor that he was working “in cooperation” with the IG.

The information that has been revealed over the last months regarding the IG’s investigation, has not come from leaks, but from providing the public the reasoning for the reassignments, demotions and terminations of certain intelligence community employees.

The fact that Washington appears to have more leaks than a sinking ship makes it utterly amazing that Huber’s work has been conducted, up until now, entirely under the radar, and he has been building cases against members of multiple intelligence agencies.

It also appears that the deep state members understand that the boom has just been lowered on them as we now see reports that McCabe lied up to four times to the DOJ and the FBI, twice under oath, about leaking information to the press, and he is publicly throwing James Comey under the bus by claiming he has “Emails between the two clearly show that Mr. McCabe advised Director Comey that he was working with colleagues at the FBI to correct inaccuracies before the stories were published, and that they remained in contact through the weekend while the interactions with the reporter continued,” according to a statement issued by McCabe’s attorney.

The OIG’s March 28, 2018 release is being treated by the media as a “new” investigation, but the fact that Huber has been working with the IG for more than five months, tasked with issues related to FISA abuse and other concerns of congressional oversight committees, including issues related to the Uranium One bribery scandal, means the announcement, along with Sessions’ revealing who is in charge of the team of prosecutors, is indicative of dotting his i’s and crossing his t’s before the IG report and findings are revealed.

The rats of the deep state are scurrying for cover.

Big FBI lie could land Comey and anti-Trump agents in prison

The corruption at the FBI has become the biggest scandal in American politics.

Former FBI Director James Comey and former deputy director Andrew McCabe are neck deep in trouble.  And now they have to worry about one big mistake landing them both in prison.

Special counsel Robert Mueller has aggressively pursued charges against Trump associates on process crimes.  He forced former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn to plead guilty to making false statements to the FBI even though the FBI did not believe he was lying.

And now that could come back to bite both Comey and McCabe.

Comey has acknowledged that he purposefully and deliberately leaked four memos of his conversations with the President to a friend so they would end up in the press and lead to the appointment of a special counsel.

An Inspector General report will allegedly cite McCabe for misleading investigators about press leaks he engineered during the Hillary Clinton email investigation.

George Washington Law Professor Jonathan Turley writes that the standard set by Mueller may have put Comey and McCabe in legal jeopardy:

“In the case of McCabe, he reportedly denied any intention to mislead investigators on the leak to the Wall Street Journal. McCabe would not be alone in the Justice Department’s own allowance for an in-house “exculpatory no.” As I have previously written, Comey was in violation of FBI rules when he removed memos linked to the investigation and then leaked the information to the media through a friend. The Justice Department has indicated that these memos were FBI documents removed by Comey without prior approval.

Moreover, four of the seven memos that Comey removed are now believed to be classified. Since he reportedly gave four memos to his friend, Columbia University Professor Daniel Richman, to leak to the media, at least one disclosed memo may have been classified. It is a crime to remove or release classified information. While Comey could have legally given the information to a congressional committee or alerted them to the existence of the memos, he chose to remove the material and leak the information to the media.

Comey is also cooperating with Mueller and there is no indication that he is facing a criminal inquiry. While McCabe was working under Comey, it is not clear if Comey knew of the alleged leak by McCabe. In a May 2017 congressional hearing, Comey was asked if he had “ever been an anonymous source in news reports about matters relating to the Trump investigation or the Clinton investigation” or whether he had “ever authorized someone else at the FBI to be an anonymous source in news reports about the Trump investigation or the Clinton investigation.” Comey replied, “Never” and “No.”

If Comey and McCabe do not face charges, then it will prove that there is one set of standards for swamp insiders and another for Trump and his team.

Which is just further proof that the Mueller probe is nothing more than an anti-Trump witch hunt.

This is all the evidence Trump needs to shut this nonsense down immediately.

Mueller’s first indictments should make Trump ecstatic

This week’s announcement that special counsel Robert Mueller produced a federal indictment against Paul Manafort and his associate Rick Gates has Democrats calling it a bombshell.

In truth, President Trump is probably ecstatic that the concerted efforts of 17 federal prosecutors and many months of investigation turned up absolutely nothing that includes the name of the president or any tampering with the past election.

Of course, news sources like Huffington Post and Salon see these indictments as proof that President Trump is in deep trouble. Matthew Rozsa of Salon writes that President Trump may be publicly claiming to be unfazed by the Mueller indictments, but the infamous ‘unnamed sources’ in the White House say Trump is privately apprehensive about what might happen next.

Rozsa writes:

“’The walls are closing in. Everyone is freaking out,’ one senior Republican told The Washington Post. Trump was reported to be personally upset at the possibility that the Mueller probe will start to look into his private financial matters and was generally annoyed that the focus on the investigation distracted public attention from his policy initiatives like tax reform.”

The truth is this: Mueller has now proven that his investigation is a fishing expedition that has nothing to do with what the Justice Department commissioned him to do, and the President knows it.

Paul Manafort was targeted by Mueller months ago because, as a top Republican strategist, he had a well-known track record of working for foreign politicians. He was campaign manager for Trump, but only for a brief time after his business dealings in Ukraine came under intense scrutiny.

Manafort and his associate, Richard W. Gates, have been charged with conspiring to conceal from the U.S. government that they may have been unregistered foreign agents for Ukraine, and may have taken part in a money-laundering conspiracy. Manafort has pled not guilty to these alleged crimes which are very far removed from the 2016 election.

In spite of what the mainstream media portrays, the charges themselves are not a slam dunk, and even if proven have no connection to President Trump or any supposed Russian collusion tainting our electoral system.

Andrew C. McCarthy, writing for The National Review, says:

“Do not be fooled by the ‘Conspiracy against the United States’ heading on Count One (page 23 of the indictment). This case has nothing to do with what Democrats and the media call ‘the attack on our democracy’ (i.e., the Kremlin’s meddling in the 2016 election, supposedly in ‘collusion’ with the Trump campaign).”

Manafort’s indictment is really a huge win for Trump. He is not a longtime friend of the president, and did not have the kind of personal connection normally expected in a campaign manager. Manafort was brought into the campaign because of his experience in dealing with party infighting going back to the Ford-Reagan fight in 1976, and he left the post after only a few months.

More importantly, there is nothing in the indictment that relates to the 2016 election, then-candidate Trump, or anyone in his inner circle.

What is most telling is what the indictment does not include.  What the indictment fails to do is put the president of the United States in any legal peril. In spite of initial glee from Democrats, Mueller’s first effort is not remotely the direct hit they are wishing it was.

Manafort’s work for the Trump campaign is not even mentioned in the indictment. Few see Manafort as having clean hands in his own business dealings in Ukraine and other countries, but none of those intersect with the Oval Office in any way.

Collusion isn’t a federal crime, and it’s likely Trump’s base will not be swayed even if proven. But the very idea of such is a fairy tale was invented by a desperate Hillary Clinton to salvage her election hopes. The irony is, as President Trump has pointed out, Clinton, Mueller, and other Democrats may very soon come to wish they had not pointed the spotlight on shady business dealings with Russia.

From President Trump’s perspective, the indictment is a gift.  Republicans can now point out that the special counsel has no case for collusion. Former FBI director James Comey’s multiple assurances that Trump is not a suspect to this point have proven to be true.  Additionally, Mueller’s prosecutorial overreach is exactly what Trump has called it – a witch hunt.

Is President Trump annoyed by all the unnecessary distraction? No doubt. But afraid of a fight? At this point he may relish it.

Mueller’s continued war on America…

Mueller's continued war on America

Robert Mueller is waging war on Donald Trump and the American people.

The special counsel took his Russia probe to the next level by indicting Trump aides and signaling he wants them to help him incriminate the President.

But Donald Trump has one ace up his sleeve that could shut Mueller down for good.

Even after the indictments of former campaign manager Paul Manafort and his deputy Rick Gates, Mueller has yet to produce ANY evidence of collusion with Russia.

It is more than obvious Mueller’s probe is a fishing expedition designed to concoct any reason the swamp can find to impeach Trump and remove him from office.

But there is a way Trump can end this farce.

Writing in the Wall Street Journal, former Reagan administration officials David B. Rivkin Jr. and Lee A. Casey say that Trump could shut down the Mueller investigation by issuing a blanket pardon to anyone involved in the investigation.

They write:

“Mr. Trump can end this madness by immediately issuing a blanket presidential pardon to anyone involved in supposed collusion with Russia or Russians during the 2016 presidential campaign, to anyone involved with Russian acquisition of an American uranium company during the Obama administration, and to anyone for any offense that has been investigated by Mr. Mueller’s office. Political weaponization of criminal law should give way to a politically accountable democratic process. Nefarious Russian activities, including possible interference in U.S. elections, can and should be investigated by Congress.

Partisan bitterness will not evaporate if lawmakers take up the investigation. But at least those conducting the inquiry will be legitimate and politically accountable. And the question of whether Russia intervened in the 2016 election, and of whether it made efforts to influence U.S. policy makers in previous administrations, is first and foremost one of policy and national security, not criminal law.

The president himself would be covered by the blanket pardon we recommend, but the pardon power does not extend to impeachment. If Congress finds evidence that he was somehow involved in collusion with Russia, the House can determine whether to begin impeachment proceedings. Congress also is better equipped, as part of its oversight role, to determine whether and how the FBI, Justice Department and intelligence agencies might have been involved in the whole affair, including possible misuse of surveillance and mishandling of criminal investigations.”

Rivkin and Casey cite the blanket amnesty given out by President Washington after the Whiskey Rebellion, and Lincoln’s pardon to Confederates who had pledged their loyalty to the Union.

Mueller’s probe has been a partisan political hit job from day one.  Donald Trump would be well within his authority to shut this expensive nonsense down.

“Dirty cop” Robert Mueller now attempting desperate indictment to distract from Uranium One scandal and Hillary Clinton treason

This should give you a heads up on what’s coming this week from the lying mainstream media, which has proven again and again that it has no morals, no ethics, no dedication to facts and no interest in real journalism whatsoever.

Brace yourself for a barrage of fake news from the mainstream media which will be catapulted into your consciousness starting tomorrow. According to multiple news reports, the corrupt special counsel Robert Mueller has filed criminal charges stemming from his tainted investigation into people affiliated with the Trump administration. But this is all a deliberate distraction from the exploding Uranium One and Fusion GPS scandals, both of which are ensnaring not just Hillary Clinton but also James Comey and even Robert Mueller himself, who was head of the FBI when Clinton rubber stamped the selling of U.S. uranium supplies to Russia.

Over the last few days, for example, the US DOJ has granted approval for an FBI informant with detailed knowledge of the Clinton / Comey criminality to testify before the U.S. Senate. That testimony will be on the record in a few weeks, and it will result in criminal indictments against Obama era officials and Clinton cohorts who have been running a massive collusion cartel for at least the last eight years.

Now, it’s an all-out political war because Mueller, Comey, Hillary Clinton, Lynch and even Eric Holder know they are all going to be indicted for corruption and treason if they can’t destroy Trump and get him impeached.

Sean Hannity is spearheading much of the media coverage on all this, and he deserves some kind of Congressional Medal of Honor for taking so much enemy fire during all this… he’s practically a “war hero” at this point, at least as far as journalists can be war heroes.

The Gateway Pundit is also blazing a trail of amazing investigative journalism on all this, so much so that The Gateway Pundit has now become my No. 1 source for news on breaking scandals out of Washington D.C. We are sourcing their stories in many of the articles published at Clinton.news and Trump.news as well.

TGP has the very best coverage on the corruption and collusion of Robert Mueller, James Comey, Hillary Clinton and the whole gang of political mafia bosses. Here’s a recent TGP story that details the astonishing criminality of these operatives and how they collude and conspire to destroy their political enemies:

Robert Mueller continued with his now widely reported corrupt and criminal activities last night by leaking information sealed by the courts to CNN.  This is just another corrupt and criminal act in Mueller’s corrupt and criminal career.

Last night we found out from information leaked to CNN that the Mueller investigation has filed charges in the ongoing superfluous investigation into President Trump and the far out possibility that he colluded with Russia in the 2016 election.  CNN reported that:

A federal grand jury in Washington, DC, on Friday approved the first charges in the investigation led by special counsel Robert Mueller, according to sources briefed on the matter. The charges are still sealed under orders from a federal judge.

In typical bad cop form, former FBI Head and current Special Counsel Mueller proved again that he is as dirty as it gets.

Mueller’s career is littered with numerous investigations of major scandals and likely crimes that Mueller did not meaningfully investigate as FBI Director resulting in no arrests and no consequences.  All of these resulted in the Clintons and/or Obama Administration getting away with criminal activities:

IRS Targeting (2010-2013): the IRS intentionally selected and then delayed or denied tax-exempt 501(c)(3) applications from conservative groups to prevent them from participating in the 2012 election, followed by IRS agent Lois Lerner invoking her Fifth Amendment privilege against self-incrimination.  (No charges have been filed of any wrong doing by any government officials in this case.)

Fast and Furious (2010): this ATF program, which seems to have served no rational purpose, allowed over 2,000 guns to be purchased illegally inside the United States and then “walked” into Mexico for use by criminals, one of which was later used in the 2010 murder of Border Agent Brian Terry by the member of a Mexican cartel

Associated Press Spying (2012): the Department of Justice illegally seized the communications of AP reporters made during April and May 2012, allowing the DOJ to unmask journalists’ confidential sources

Clinton Foundation Pay-for-Play (2009-2013): during the period in which Hillary Clinton held the office of Secretary of State, the Clinton Foundation and Bill Clinton received millions of dollars in paid speaking fees and a million dollar “gift”from countries involved in matters with the State Department, many of which had ties to terrorism and human rights abuses; some of these funds were apparently diverted from charitable causes to personal expenses, such as Chelsea Clinton’s 2010 wedding.

Russian Uranium Deal (2009-2013): Hillary Clinton’s State Department approved a deal allowing a Russian company to control 20% of the uranium mining production capacity inside the United States, which was followed by millions of dollars in donations to the Clinton Foundation from people associated with the transaction.  This past week information was reported that prior to the Obama administration approving the very controversial deal in 2010 giving Russia 20% of America’s Uranium through the approved sale of Uranium One, the FBI had evidence that Russian nuclear industry officials were involved in bribery, kickbacks, extortion and money laundering in order to benefit Vladimir Putin, says a report by The Hill.  Mueller was the head of the FBI at this time!  He was even hand picked by Hillary Clinton to hand over uranium to Russia on an airport tarmac at this time.

Clinton Private Email Server (2009-2013): during her entire tenure as Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton dodged Freedom of Information Act requirements by using a private email server to conduct official government business, as well as sent and received classified information that was Top Secret over an unsecured system—an “extremely reckless” (and obviously illegal) act.”

Mueller by not upholding the law in these cases above created a two-tiered system of law in the US – Laws for the political elite and laws for everyone else.

Mueller’s acceptance of the lead role in the investigation into Russia is another obvious example of his corrupt and criminal tendencies.  Based on numerous accounts he has obvious conflicts of interest and even liberal publications like the USA Today have called for Mueller to step down as special prosecutor because of his conflicts of interest with the investigation he is carrying on.  Now we know he took over the investigation in spite of his criminal activities in covering up the FBI investigation into Uranium One.  A person of integrity would easily have seen his conflicts of interest and would recuse himself.

There are now speculations that Mueller was hired by Rosenstein to cover up their illegal actions related to Uranium One.  It’s also suspected that Mueller is spending like a drunken sailor on the investigation.  Also, it is now clear that the dossier used as evidence to spy on Trump and create the special investigation was promoted by the Clintons and is totally based on lies from a company (Fusion) known for slanderous reporting.

The entire team Mueller has hired to assist in the Russia investigation is former Obama and Clinton related attornies. Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s attorneys are a Who’s Who of Liberal Activism.

Here is a summary of the Mueller team:

  • Robert Mueller – Special Counsel Team leader. — Best friend to fired leaker James Comey a key witness in the case and cohort at the FBI in assisting Mueller with many of the cases noted above.
  • Rush Atkinson, an attorney on detail from the Criminal Division’s Fraud Section at the Department of Justice
    — Donated $200 to Clinton in 2016
  • Peter Carr – DOJ spokesman under Barack Obama.
  • Andrew Goldstein, a public corruption prosecutor on detail from the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Southern District of New York
Worked under Trump-basher Preet Bharara in the liberal New York southern district.
  • Adam Jed, an appellate attorney on detail from DOJ’s Civil Division. — Defended Obamacare at the DOJ.
  • Lisa Page, an attorney on detail from the FBI’s Office of the General Counsel and a former trial attorney with the Criminal Division’s Organized Crime and Gang Section – Investigated Ukrainian oligarch Dmitry Firtash, a one-time business partner of former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort, at the DOJ.
  • Elizabeth Prelogar, an appellate attorney on detail from the Office of the Solicitor General. -Fluent in Russian; former law clerk to Justices Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Elena Kagan.
  • James Quarles, a former partner at WilmerHale and a former assistant special prosecutor for the Watergate Special Prosecution Force. –Former assistant special prosecutor on the Watergate Special Prosecution Force.
  • Jeannie Rhee, a former partner at WilmerHale who has served in the Office of Legal Counsel at DOJ and as an assistant U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia. — Rhee is a Clinton Foundation Lawyer and former Deputy Assistant Attorney General in the Office of Legal Counsel under Barack Obama.
  • Brandon Van Grack, an attorney on detail from the Justice Department’s National Security Division.
    — Led a grand jury inquiry in Northern Virginia scrutinizing former Trump associate Michael Flynn’s foreign lobbying.
  • Andrew Weissmann, who is on detail from the Criminal Division’s Fraud Section and who has served as general counsel at the FBI and as an assistant U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of New York. — Weissmann donated $2,300 to the Obama Victory Fund in 2008, $2,000 to the DNC in 2006 and at least $2,300 to the Clinton campaign in 2007.
  • Aaron Zebley, a former partner at WilmerHale who has previously served with Mueller at the FBI and has served as an assistant U.S. attorney in the Eastern District of Virginia. — Worked with Robert Mueller at the WilmerHale firm.
  • Aaron Zelinsky, an attorney on detail from the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the District of Maryland. — Worked under Assistant AG Rod Rosenstein in Maryland.
  • Zainab Ahmad, a top national security prosecutor on detail from U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Eastern District of New York.
  • Michael Dreeben, an appellate attorney on detail from the Office of the Solicitor General, described by former colleagues as one of the brightest criminal law experts of the past two generations.

It is very clear that Mueller is an extremely dishonest, bad and morally corrupt cop who should not only recuse himself from the Russia investigation, he should be under investigation himself for all of the above items.  It appears he leaked information to CNN to curtail the focus on his corrupt actions and inactions.

God, please help bring this country some justice!  Help us lock up corrupt and criminal Mueller and the rest of the Deep State!
