(1) Impeaching President Trump will allow the destruction of America. (2) Democrat party should be declared a criminal organization.

Events are rushing ahead at an ever-quickening pace, and it is becoming increasingly obvious that this cannot go on much longer. The US national debt now exceeds $22.03 trillion dollars. A trillion is a thousand times a billion, which is a thousand times a million, which is a thousand times a thousand. America’s unfunded liabilities (projected future costs of, mostly, Medicare and Social Security which we cannot pay for) total about $45.8 trillion dollars. Add to that the debts of many state and local governments, the huge student loan debt, and private debt, and it is clear that we are headed for an inevitable economic decline or even collapse in the near future. As of 2016 the yearly interest on the national debt was a mind boggling $240 billion, almost all of it going to powerful banks, often foreign banks. We continue to add to the debt by spending more than we take in; as of 2018 the federal government spent $4.1 trillion and took in only$3.3 trillion. This alone guarantees the final destruction of our former Republic.

Not satisfied with this, our glorious leaders import hordes of illegal aliens, many of them unable to speak English and illiterate in their own languages. They receive free goodies on our shrinking dime, take jobs from Americans, and commit crimes. Many are Muslims who hate America, hate Christians, hate Jews, and want Sharia law. But if granted citizenship they are reliable Demoncrat voters, or, given the level of vote fraud, even if they are not citizens. Even leftist Wikipedia admits that as of 2015 there were 47 million immigrants in the US and that in 2016 there were some 10.7 million illegals.

Over one million aliens are allowed in legally every year. The real number of aliens is certainly much higher; illegals now infesting what is left of America probably total over 20 million, and perhaps much higher. Their net cost to our economy is at least $135 billion each year. Trump supporters claim that the President has reduced the influx, but reports from the border show them still pouring in, and, so far, still being released by the Border Patrol.  All by itself, at present levels, immigration could finish the destruction of America, turning our once beautiful country into a teeming, Balkanized, Third World Hell.

Meanwhile, a thermonuclear war is still possible, as the neocons, mighty warriors that they are, continue to portray Putin as a latter day Hitler and clamor for ever more foreign wars. Our leaders have yet to harden our electric grid against natural or manmade EMP. Leftist governors and mayors, the same ones who have declared the lands they rule to be “sanctuary” cities and states (there is no sanctuary for our own citizens), have, via welfare goodies, attracted the “homeless,” meaning criminals and drug addicted vagrants, turning once beautiful cities into literal hellholes, with vagrants camping on the sidewalks, blocking the traffic, and covering the pavement with feces and garbage.

In the People’s Republic of Portland, a leftist official recently decreed that even using firehoses to wash away the feces is “racist.” But to leftists, everything is “racist”; this is their designated conversation stopper. There is no limit to their madness. Now, diseases (many brought in by illegal aliens) are spreading, with STDs, drug-resistant TB, and typhus becoming common. Cholera and Bubonic Plague wait just offstage.

And the environazis are not in the least concerned that the garbage and feces wash into streams and into the ocean, but then these are the same eco-freaks who take private jets to conferences to talk about imaginary global warming.

Yet even this level of sheer madness is not enough to satisfy the communists (which really means fascist) Demoncrats. Led by the “squad” of four…the bug-eyed girl AOC, the two America-hating Muslims Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar, and the mindless Black racist Ayanna Pressley, the Demoncrats want to force Americans to accept a mandatory federal health insurance program that would be unaffordable. But even this is not enough for these four witch-twits; they want to give aliens, including illegals, full coverage at our expense (and allow them to vote legally in our elections), and to eliminate ICE and completely open our borders. We can’t even pay for our current Medicare system, and they want it expanded for the benefit of literally hundreds of millions of America-hating Third World Blacks, Latinos, and Muslims.

And then there is their “green new deal,” an econazi’s dream. They want to ban fracking (which has been supplying much of our oil and gas), ban coal, ban nuclear (despite the existence of inherently safe nuclear reactor designs which produce none of the dreaded plant food, CO2), ban cars (for us serfs, but not for the elites), and ban airline travel (they will still have their private jets). We have long since crossed the line into literally certifiable mental illness. But wait; there’s more.

They want to retrofit every building in America at the taxpayer’s expense, to conserve energy and save Earth from the imaginary peril of “climate change.” We can’t even afford to repair much of our existing infrastructure, and the Demoncrats essentially want to level everything and start over. They want to ban beef (for us, but not for them) because, you know, cow flatulence causes global warming.

And they continue to promote the evil Glibett (GLBT, etc.) agenda, brainwashing young children to be promiscuous, to become homosexuals and lesbians, and to be drugged and sexually mutilated (even if it is against the will of their parents) in vain attempts to turn boys into girls and girls into boys. What really happens is that they become unable to reproduce, and their health is wrecked and their lives shortened (even if they don’t commit suicide, which many do). The fascists’ madness is so deep that many rank and file leftists literally believe that men can menstruate and become pregnant and women can become football linepersons. Hitler, Stalin, and Mao never forced this on the children under their control, but our leftists make those tyrants appear almost benign by comparison.

We would like to believe that the American people are not so utterly depraved and irrational as to fall for this lunacy, and that the Demoncrats will simply lose most elections, including the Presidency, and lose control of the House. But the Demoncrats are masters of vote fraud and the cowardly RINOs always let them get away with it, and it is not clear that Trump and many other Republicans really offer an alternative. And the indoctrination centers (formerly known as “schools”) have done their job, and many Americans are hopelessly dumbed down, morally degraded, and brainwashed. People dumb enough to believe in manmade climate change will fall for anything. So we now face the near certainty of fascist tyranny (which we must resist) and/or economic collapse and deadly epidemics. But there is a ray of hope…sort of.

Thanks to the alternative media, and a few good people on Fox, especially Tucker Carlson, Jeanine Pirro, and Laura Ingraham and some of their guests, an ever-larger minority of Americans are aware that we are ruled over by a corrupt and murderous oligarchy, a self-appointed elite of sociopaths.

Many Americans know about the Deep State and the NWO elites who control it, and are aware of the total corruption of the federal police and intelligence agencies, and we have nothing but utter contempt for most of the slimestream media. We are desperate, even fighting mad, and our patience is wearing thin. We understand that between us and the rank and file Demoncrats who continue to guzzle the Kool-Aid there is a chasm that can never be bridged. There can be no reconciliation, no compromise, no peaceful coexistence.

No matter what happens, a great many Americans are likely to die in the next few years. And the leftist followers of the elites are concentrated in the disease and crime-ridden cities, where the casualties will be the highest. Patriots are more prone to live in suburbs, small towns, and rural areas, where the death toll will be much lower, and are more likely to own firearms for self-defense, and more likely to be preppers. When the dust settles, more of us will still be standing.

Perhaps these patriot survivors will be able to preserve much of the culture of Western Civilization and rebuild.  Let us not give up hope…and let us never surrender.

Mueller set to deliver findings “after the midterm elections”

Robert Mueller’s rigged witch hunt has been building to this moment.

He’s been lurking in the shadows for months, snooping through every aspect of Donald Trump’s life.  But he just took everyone by surprise with this shocking announcement about impeachment.

Bloomberg News rocked Washington with a report that Mueller was set to submit his findings after the election.  It will include his final report on whether he found any evidence of Russian collusion or obstruction of justice.

Bloomberg claimed Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein is pressing Mueller to wrap up his investigation, and critics argue it has gone on too long.  Mueller terrorized Trump and his associates for nearly 18 months, and did not produce even one indictment for collusion.

Texas Congressman Louie Gohmert appeared on Fox News to discuss this new report.  Gohmert asserted that Mueller leaked this information to help the Democrats in the midterm election.

“There’s no way they’re going to wrap this up before the election. They need this to help the Democrats in the election,” Gohmert began.  “Why in the world do you have to release a statement saying you’re pretty well through, you’re coming out with a report right after the election?  To affect the election – that’s all Mueller cares about.”

Gohmert believes Mueller knows he is in trouble.

Mueller wants to tip the election in the Democrats favor so they don’t investigate his abuses of power.

“If he can help the Democrats take the majority in the House, then some of his potential crimes can go unobserved and uninvestigated,” Gohmert declared.  “So, he’s wanting to make things for the Trump Administration just as difficult as possible. He’s still got a revenge motive, because the president didn’t reappoint him to be head of the FBI.  So, you know, he’s leaking that now to try to influence the election,” he said.

Mueller Knows His Scheme To Frame Trump Failed

Gohmert also said that Mueller decided to leak this now so Democrats can prepare for his report to disappoint them.  “By giving information out earlier about not having indictments, particularly of the president himself, that’s Mueller trying to prepare the Democrats so they won’t be as mad at him as he’s afraid they’re going to be, because there’s just nothing there.”

“So he’s doing two things: trying to prepare the Democrats with ‘Don’t be mad at me, we just haven’t found stuff and can’t indict,’ and, then, at the same time, they’re not going to have any bad report on obstruction. They’re not going to have any evidence, hard evidence of collusion between the president and the Russians – that came from Hillary’s team,” he stated.

Gohmert concluded, “So they’re leaking information about a report – that’s about as much damage as they can do to the Trump Administration, but they’re still doing what they can to hurt Mr. Trump and the Republicans.”

It stands to reason that Rod Rosenstein would want Mueller to wrap up his phony investigation because collusion with Russia was a fake news story right from the beginning.

Mueller should have investigated Hillary Clinton, not Trump.  Lots of lies and collusion to be found if you look at the Democrats.

Americans seem to agree on at least one thing: They REALLY dislike the US government!

If there is one thing that Americans can agree on these days, it is the fact that most of us don’t like the government.

CBS News has just released an article entitled “Americans hate the U.S. government more than ever“, and an average of recent surveys calculated by Real Clear Politics found that 63 percent of all Americans believe the country is heading in the wrong direction and only 28 percent of all Americans believe that the country is heading in the right direction.  In just a few days the first real ballots of the 2016 election will be cast in Iowa, and up to this point the big story of this cycle has been the rise of “outsider” candidates that many of the pundits had assumed would never have a legitimate chance.  Donald Trump, Ted Cruz and Bernie Sanders have all been beneficiaries of the overwhelming disgust that the American people feel regarding what has been going on in Washington.

And it isn’t just Barack Obama or members of Congress that Americans are disgusted with.  According to the CBS News article that I referenced above, our satisfaction with various federal agencies has fallen to an eight year low…

A handful of industries are those “love to hate” types of businesses, such as cable-television companies and Internet service providers.

The federal government has joined the ranks of the bottom-of-the-barrel industries, according to a new survey from the American Customer Satisfaction Index. Americans’ satisfaction level in dealing with federal agencies –everything from Treasury to Homeland Security — has fallen for a third consecutive year, reaching an eight-year low.

So if we are all so fed up with the way that things are running, it should be easy to fix right?

Unfortunately, things are not so simple.

In America today, we are more divided as a nation than ever.  If you ask 100 different people how we should fix this country, you are going to get 100 very different answers.  We no longer have a single shared set of values or principles that unites us, and therefore it is going to be nearly impossible for us to come together on specific solutions.

You would think that the principles enshrined in the U.S. Constitution should be able to unite us, but sadly those days are long gone.  In fact, the word “constitutionalist” has become almost synonymous with “terrorist” in our nation.  If you go around calling yourself a “constitutionalist” in America today, there is a good chance that you will be dismissed as a radical right-wing wacko who probably needs to be locked up.

The increasing division in our nation can be seen very clearly during this election season.  On the left, an admitted socialist is generating the most enthusiasm of any of the candidates.  Among many Democrats today, Hillary Clinton is simply “not liberal enough” and no longer represents their values.

On the other end of the spectrum, a lot of Republican voters are gravitating toward either Donald Trump or Ted Cruz.  Both of those candidates represent a complete break from how establishment Republicans have been doing things in recent years.

Now don’t get me wrong – I am certainly not suggesting that we need to meet in the middle.  My point is that there is absolutely no national consensus about what we should do.  On the far left, they want to take us into full-blown socialism.  Those that support Donald Trump or Ted Cruz want to take us in a more conservative direction.  But even among Republicans there are vast disagreements about how to fix this country.  Establishment Republicans greatly dislike both Trump and Cruz, and they are quite determined to do whatever it takes to keep either of them from getting the nomination.  The elite have grown very accustomed to anointing the nominee from each party every four years, and so the popularity of Trump and Cruz is making them quite uneasy this time around.  The following comes from the New York Times

The members of the party establishment are growing impatient as they watch Mr. Trump and Mr. Cruz dominate the field heading into the Iowa caucuses next Monday and the New Hampshire primary about a week later.

The party elders had hoped that one of their preferred candidates, such as Senator Marco Rubio of Florida, would be rising above the others by now and becoming a contender to rally around.

The global elite gathered in Davos, Switzerland are also greatly displeased with Trump.  Just check out some of the words that they are using to describe him

Unbelievable“, “embarrassing” even “dangerous” are some of the words the financial elite gathered at the World Economic Forum conference in the Swiss resort of Davos have been using to describe U.S. Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump.

Although some said they still expected his campaign to founder before his party picks its nominee for the November election many said it was no longer unthinkable that he could be the Republican candidate.

The truth is that the Republican Party represents somewhere less than half the population in the United States, and today it is at war with itself.  Supporters of Trump have a significantly different vision of the future than supporters of Cruz, and the establishment wing wants nothing to do with either candidate.

A lot of people seem to assume that since Trump is leading in the polls that he will almost certainly get the nomination.

That is not exactly a safe bet.

It is my contention that the establishment will pull out every trick in the book to keep either him or Cruz from getting the nomination.  And in order to lock up the nomination before the Republican convention, a candidate will need to have secured slightly more than 60 percent of all of the delegates during the caucuses and the primaries.

The following is an excerpt from one of my previous articles in which I discussed the difficult delegate math that the Republican candidates are facing this time around…

It is going to be much more difficult for Donald Trump to win the Republican nomination than most people think.  In order to win the nomination, a candidate must secure at least 1,237 of the 2,472 delegates that are up for grabs.  But not all of them will be won during the state-by-state series of caucuses and primaries that will take place during the first half of 2016.  Of the total of 2,472 Republican delegates, 437 of them are unpledged delegates – and 168 of those are members of the Republican National Committee.  And unless you have been hiding under a rock somewhere, you already know that the Republican National Committee is not a fan of Donald Trump.  In order to win the Republican nomination without any of the unpledged delegates, Trump would need to win 60.78 percent of the delegates that are up for grabs during the caucuses and primaries.  And considering that his poll support is hovering around 30 percent right now, that is a very tall order.

In the past, it was easier for a front-runner to pile up delegates in “winner take all” states, but for this election cycle the Republicans have changed quite a few things.  In 2016, all states that hold caucuses or primaries before March 15th must award their delegates proportionally.  So when Trump wins any of those early states, he won’t receive all of the delegates.  Instead, he will just get a portion of them based on the percentage of the vote that he received.

In 2016, more delegates will be allocated on a proportional basis by the Republicans than ever before, and with such a crowded field that makes it quite likely that no candidate will have secured enough delegates for the nomination by the time the Republican convention rolls around.

If no candidate has more than 60 percent of the delegates by the end of the process, then it is quite likely that we will see the first true “brokered convention” in decades.

If we do see a “brokered convention”, that would almost surely result in an establishment candidate coming away with the nomination.  That list of names would include Bush, Rubio, Christie and Kasich.

And if by some incredible miracle either Trump or Cruz does get the nomination, the elite will move heaven and earth to make sure that Hillary Clinton ends up in the White House.

For decades, it has seemed like nothing ever really changes no matter which political party is in power, and that is exactly how the elite like it.  Our two major political parties are really just two sides of the same coin, and they are both leading this nation right down the drain.

NORM ‘n’ AL Note:  If it seems like the good ol’ USA is foundering like a ship in a storm, that’s because the USA very definitely IS foundering. Just like the Titanic, which although proclaimed unsinkable, hit an iceberg and took thousands of its passengers to a cold and watery grave, the USA, once the brightest light among countries anywhere on the planet, is very close to taking many millions of its own citizens to their graves. The demise of the Titanic was preventable by those at the helm. The demise of the USA is also preventable, but those at the helm are too busy re-arranging deck chairs while the ship they are supposed to be steering is heading straight for the rocks.

Americans used to have respect for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Now we have no respect for life: We murder little human beings with hardly a thought, and since Roe v. Wade became law, we have murdered nearly 60 million of them. We obviously have no respect for liberty, because we continue to do our best to enslave those in coming generations who have not a prayer of being able to repay the monstrous level of debt we continue to heap upon them. As for happiness, just ask yourself this very simple question: Am I happy? Do I like the fact that the US government is more restrictive than ever before? Does it make me happy to see our economy prevent millions of us from getting a job? Does it make me happy to see our Oval Office Occupant favor Muslims over Christians? Am I happy with a government that is now so big and clumsy and oppressive that it simply cannot get out of its own way and protect its citizens, which is its most basic obligation? If you want to experience first-hand just how big and clumsy and inept the US government really is, just get sick and try to get good, effective, first-rate health care. You stand a better chance of getting well in 36 other countries, because the US is now ranked 37th in quality of healthcare. (That ranking comes from the World Health Organization, WHO, which has been ranking the world’s quality of healthcare for decades. WHO knows what good healthcare is.)

Are you not yet sick and tired of politicians who seek office for their OWN benefit, and not that of the USA? You SHOULD be fighting mad by now, unless it makes you happy to live like a doormat. Do you think God is going to look with favor on a country that continues to kill its unborn by the millions? That has removed prayer from its schools in an all-out effort to remove God from its children? That has spared no expense to remove all references to the Creator from the everyday lives of its citizens? That has absolutely no respect for the truth of the Bible? Think again. You are now living in a country which is showing you very clearly what ONE NATION UNDER NO GOD looks like, feels like, and will be like, next week and next year.

White House extremism summit shows one thing: Obama still in denial…

The White House has placed a lot of importance on their Summit on Violent Extremism this week, but it became quickly apparent that nothing will change. In a gathering of leaders meant to identify ways to prevent youth radicalization and respond to attacks such as the ones in Paris and Copenhagen, the president continues to deny the truth behind the terrorism.

“No religion is responsible for terrorism — people are responsible for violence and terrorism,” Obama said on Wednesday. “They are not religious leaders. They are terrorists. We are not at war with Islam — we are at war with people who have perverted Islam.”

This is actually closer to the mark than the president has been in some time, but it’s discouraging that he makes this distinction every time he gets by a microphone. It is certainly important that we make young Muslims understand that we aren’t going to start bombing mosques, but there is no doubt that ISIS is serious about their religious convictions. Whether those convictions match the widespread Islamic faith or not is largely irrelevant. That there is something about this religion that apparently makes it very easy to “pervert” into something this evil…that’s a matter worthy of examination.

No such examination will be taking place at the summit this week, however. Insisting that “there is no one profile of a violent extremist,” Obama is going to walk us into the lion’s den across the bridge of political correctness. Far more important that we not offend the delicate ears of peaceful Muslims than it is to get serious about confronting this threat.

“There’s no way to predict who will become radicalized,” he says. Sure there is. When your average white boy from suburbia picks up the Quran and starts growing a long beard, you should probably get concerned. When your moderate Muslim neighbor starts devoting all his time to watching weird YouTube videos and reading Islamic scripture, you should probably sound the alarm bells. But the president can’t say that, because that would be too close to blaming Islam for all of this terrorism.

“Al Qaeda and ISIL and groups like it are desperate for legitimacy. They try to portray themselves as religious leaders, holy warriors in defense of Islam,” said Obama. “We must never accept the premise that they put forth because it is a lie.”

Is it a greater lie than the one propagated by Obama and his liberal establishment? Deny their legitimacy all you want, there’s no question that they believe wholeheartedly in their cause. That doesn’t make them “legitimate.” That doesn’t make their version of Islam the true one. But it does mean that you’re not going to solve this problem by providing jobs to disaffected Muslim youths. This is a war that can only be won with force.

[from Patriot News Daily]

NORM ‘n’ AL Note:  Obama refuses to be clear as to who the Islamic terrorists are. He has even told us that “the Islamic State is not Islamic.”  He was crystal clear when he called the Tea Party RADICALS, Christian conservatives EXTREMISTS, and the Republicans in Congress TERRORISTS. There was absolutely no doubt who Obama was talking about. Given this administration’s propensity towards obfuscation, when Obama says we are at war with RADICAL EXTREMISTS, how do we know he is not referring to Republicans, Christians, and the Tea Party?

Checking in on Obamacare…

We all know at this point that the Affordable Care Act is not affordable and does not provide adequate care to millions of Americans who have been forced to enroll in it. We also know it’s never going to be the great healthcare money-saver that we were told it would be. We know medical personnel hate it for the hours of data entry it requires, and that doctors hate it for the greatly reduced but mandatory payments they are forced to accept.

Our illustrious president...Here are some of the other things we know:

– This legislation is a perfect symbol of the way leftist Americans (“progressives”) use coercion and punishment in implementing programs they claim are humanitarian.

– It is a perfect example of the way Democrats knowingly, willingly lie, over and over again, to sell their ideas and programs to the American people.  (Because as we learned directly from Mr. Gruber, the architect of ACA, if the Democrats told the truth to us “stupid” Americans, we would never go for the programs the Dems are selling.)

– It reveals clearly how Democrats do not understand fundamentals of economics and detest the market-based free enterprise system that the USA was founded upon.

– It shows that Democrats place absolutely no value on personal choice and individual liberty. (“Government always knows best” is the rallying cry of the left-wingers. Remember Hillary’s “It takes a village to raise a child” admonition to all of us “stupid Americans” who were trying to raise kids in a family setting?)

– It illustrates better than almost anything else that “progressives” are anything but; in fact, they are incompetent at governing.

HOWEVER…we are now seeing that Republicans are doing their best to look like Democrats in disguise. We thought that following last November’s midterm elections, Republicans were actually going to lead this country in the direction voters wanted to go.

It’s really very simple: To not defund is to defend.

This needs to be the slogan of grass-roots activism running all the way through the 2016 election.

To not defund is to defend.

Republicans were handed the reins of the House for just such a time as this. They were elected in 2010 because the American voters rejected Obamacare. They lost seats in 2012 because they wavered for two years in what they claimed was an absolute commitment to repeal it. They won more seats in the House and control of the Senate in 2014 because they SAID they would repeal Obamacare.

In short, the Republican House leadership lied. They deceived us. They tried to broker the threat of ACA implementation for the presidency, for control of the Senate, and for more votes in the House that they didn’t even need. They claimed they didn’t have the power to repeal. That may be technically true…but they have the power to defund, have had it since January 2011, and they have failed to use it.

Failing to use that power this year and next could very well lead Republicans to lose control of the most powerful legislative body in the most powerful branch of the federal government. It could also cost them the Senate and any chance to capture the White House.

To not defund is to defend.

Why is failing to defund the ACA tantamount to defending it? Because House Republicans got elected because they opposed Obamacare, but then failed to do anything meaningful with the mandate the voters gave them. This has been an outright betrayal of their campaign promises. It has sent an unmistakeable signal to millions of Americans that Republicans really do not represent a viable alternative to Democratic rule.

Leading up to November’s election, voters were so fired up they took to the streets and traveled to Washington to make their voices heard; the message delivered after the election is that there really is very little citizens can do to  influence elected leaders. Those elected leaders, those Republicans who said they were ready to perform as the voters had demanded, not only betrayed their own constituencies, but thus far they have also betrayed the whole concept of representative government and the rule of law.

Campaign talk is cheap. (Maybe even the cheapest, if Obama is the example.) What our elected officials say to get elected, and do once they assume office, DOES NOT MATTER. What matters is what they actually do once they have the power to do it.

To not defund is to defend.

Thus far the House Republican leadership has failed to stand against the biggest borrowing and spending spree in American history. (The biggest by a huge margin.) They have the power to stop it, but for lots of reasons, most of them politically selfish and shortsighted, they have consciously decided not to oppose it. (Result: this USA that we love, and love living in, is now so deeply in debt that we probably will have no choice in the future but to default on some of that debt, which will then have the effect of decreasing the value of the dollar to worthless junk.)

Republicans have now put themselves in the position of being complicit in the Obamacare scam. There is no other way to view it. This is the way millions of Americans, mostly Republicans, now see it…and will continue to see it until they see something coming from the mandate of last year’s election.

TO NOT DEFUND IS TO DEFEND.

Remember that. And let your elected representatives KNOW you remember it.

If you don’t like Obamacare now, you’re going to really HATE it next year…

Hold on to your hats, folks, because the elections are over and Mr. O now feels free to do what he wants without fear of reprisal. Over the past few years we’ve seen Obama and his Democrat cronies contrive, contort and delay parts of the Obamacare law that they knew would hurt Americans. The first time was back in 2012 when they delayed certain aspects of the law to limit the blowback for the 2012 National Elections. Then it happened again, not only with Obamacare, but also with immigration reform as the Democrats obfuscated and dragged their feet to get past the 2014 midterms.

These numbers should shock all of us. Our bankers have burned us and buried us.The extremely unpopular Mr. O is now unshackled from his party and is officially a lame duck – which does offer him some semblance of freedom. Our narcissist president now has nothing to worry about in terms of future election. Now he can truly focus on himself and what he wants to do…[and we all know how good he is at focusing on himself, don’t we? (NORM ‘n’ AL Note)]

Which is why 2015 (and beyond) will finally reveal the true (and HORRIBLE) nature of Obamacare. Dr. Marc Siegel has written a biting op-ed for Fox News online showcasing 3 things the White House doesn’t want you to know about Obamacare–3 things you’re going to hate. It’s stunningly clear and incredibly concerning and it highlights just how important it is that we rid ourselves of Obamacare as soon as possible!

Here are the highlights…

First the three things that the Obama administration has been trying to hide from you.

obamacaredisasterHUGE DEFICITS AND NEW TAXES. According to the Congressional Budget Office, the latest projections for the net cost of Obamacare over the next ten years are just over $1.4 trillion. (Mr. O promised in 2009 that it would cost less than $1 trillion over ten years.)  In order to partially pay for this, Obama has added more than 20 new taxes totaling over $500 billion.

BUREAUCRACY. Speaking of Orwellian politics, ObamaCare includes 159 new boards and agencies to restrict and govern your health care choices.

STILL MORE BUREAUCRACY. Dysfunctional state exchanges with high deductible policies, narrow doctor networks, including federally-run exchanges in 36 states which may not be allowable under the law (the US Supreme Court is currently considering this case).

Here are the three things happening in 2015 that you are just going to hate.

  1. PENALTIES WILL RISE – INDIVIDUAL MANDATE. In 2014, people are facing a penalty of $95 per person or 1% of income. In 2015, the penalty will more than triple to $325 per person or 2% of income, whichever is higher. If an American failed to get coverage this year, the penalty will be taken out of their tax refund in early 2015.
  2. SERIOUS RATE HIKES FOR CHEAPER OBAMACARE PLANS. According to Investor’s Business Daily, the lowest cost bronze plan will increase an average of 7 % in many cases, the lowest cost silver plan by 9%, and the lowest priced catastrophic policy will climb 18 percent on average. Double digit rate hikes are anticipated in several southern and Midwestern states includingKansas, Iowa, Louisiana, North and South Carolina, Tennessee, Iowa, and Virginia.  Subsidies will continue to be a huge part of the program. In 2014, subsidies provided ¾ of the premiums for the federally-run exchanges.
  3. EMPLOYER MANDATE WILL TAKE EFFECT. After being delayed for a year, large businesses (100 or more employees in 2015, 50 or more in 2016) will be required to offer affordable (and subsidized) health plans to at least 70 percent of their full time employees or face a $2,000-$3,000 penalty per employee.  This mandate will lead to fewer full time employees being hired.

Obamacare has been bad thus far – even with all the delays and waivers – and it’s only going to get worse. Also, all of the rosy numbers that MSNBC and other liberal outlets have been trumpeting are deliberately skewed administration numbers – the truth has been far darker and different than Obamabots like to believe. Forbes did a great analysis of the FACTS just a few months ago

The fact of the matter is that the difference in uninsured before and after Obamacare may be as little as 3-4% of the population. This minimal difference begs the question, was this all worth it? Couldn’t existing government healthcare/welfare options have been expanded to cover these people? Wouldn’t it have been far cheaper, less invasive and FAR LESS divisive to simply expand our Medicare and/or Medicaid? Perhaps offering more subsidies to the states to cover those uninsured in their own states?

The point is that there were easier, cheaper and more effective ways for us to cover the few extra Americans that Obamacare has added to the rolls of the insured. And now, the problems are only going to get worse as the real costs of Obamacare become known and we Americans start feeling the financial impact.

Things are about to get rough folks; I hope you’re ready. If you need help preparing for the coming Obamacare collapse, Ramesh Ponnuru can help you with that over at Bloomberg View.

Hillary in 2016 makes sense only if voters really want a third Obama term

Now that two of the last three Democratic presidencies have been emphatically judged to have been failures, the world’s oldest political party — the primary architect of this nation’s administrative state — has some thinking to do.

The accumulating evidence that the Democratic Party is an exhausted volcano includes its fixation with stale ideas, such as the supreme importance of a 23rd increase in the minimum wage. Can this party be so blinkered by the modest success of its third recent presidency, Bill Clinton’s, that it will sleepwalk into the next election behind Hillary Clinton?

In 2016, she will have won just two elections in her 69 years, the last one 10 years previously. Ronald Reagan went 10 years from his second election to his presidential victory at age 69, but do Democrats want to wager their most precious possession, the presidential nomination, on the proposition that Clinton has political talents akin to Reagan’s?

In October, Clinton was campaigning, with characteristic futility, for Martha Coakley, the losing candidate for Massachusetts governor, when she said: “Don’t let anybody tell you that it’s corporations and businesses that create jobs.” Watch her on YouTube. When saying this, she glances down, not at a text but at notes, and proceeds with the hesitancy of someone gathering her thoughts. She is not reading a speechwriter’s blunder. When she said those 13 words, she actually was thinking.

You may be wondering, to use eight other Clinton words that will reverberate for a long time: “What difference at this point does it make?” This difference: Although she says her 13 words “short-handed” her thinking, what weird thinking can they be shorthand for?

Yuval Levin, whose sharp thinking was honed at the University of Chicago’s Committee on Social Thought, is editor of the National Affairs quarterly and author of two books on science and public policy and, most recently, of “The Great Debate: Edmund Burke, Thomas Paine, and the Birth of Right and Left.” He is one of conservatism’s most sophisticated and measured explicators, so his biting assessment of Clinton is especially notable:

“She is smart, tough and savvy and has a capacity to learn from failure and adjust. But … people are bored of her and feel like she has been talking at them forever. … She is a dull, grating, inauthentic, over-eager, insipid elitist with ideological blinders yet no particular vision and is likely to be reduced to running on a dubious promise of experience and competence while faking idealism and hope — a very common type of presidential contender in both parties, but one that almost always loses.”

Her husband promised “a bridge to the 21st century.” She promises a bridge back to the 1990s. Or perhaps to 1988 and the “competence” candidacy of Michael Dukakis, which at least did not radiate, as hers will, a cloying aura of entitlement.

The energy in her party — in its nominating electorate — is well to her left, as will be the center of political gravity in the smaller and more liberal Democratic Senate caucus that will gather in January. There is, however, evidence that the left is too untethered from reality to engage in effective politics. For example:

Billionaire Tom Steyer’s environmental angst is implausibly focused on the supposed planetary menace of the Keystone XL pipeline. His NextGen Climate super PAC disbursed more than $60 million to candidates who shared — or pretended to in order to get his money — his obsession. The result? The gavel of the Environment and Public Works Committee is coming into the hands of Oklahoma’s Jim Inhofe, the Senate’s most implacable skeptic about large-scale and predictable climate change driven by human behavior.

Is Clinton the person to maintain her party’s hold on young voters? Democrats, in their misplaced confidence in their voter mobilization magic, targeted what have been called “basement grads.” These are some of the one-third of millennials (ages 18-31) who, because of the economy’s sluggishness in the sixth year of recovery, are living with their parents. Why did Democrats think they would be helped by luring anxious and disappointed young people out of basements and into voting booths?

The last time voters awarded a party a third consecutive presidential term was 1988, when George Herbert Walker Bush’s candidacy could be construed as promising something like a third Reagan term. A Clinton candidacy make sense if, but only if, in 24 months voters will be thinking: Let’s have a third Obama term.
