Could YOU survive what liberal, unthinking Americans are trying to do to Donald Trump?

President Donald Trump

President Donald Trump is apparently not a figure many of us feel empathy for.  Nearly half the country hates him.  Hate may even be too mild a word.  They despise him and equate him with the worst of human history, Hitler and the Nazis.  They want him destroyed, literally and politically, along with his family.  This includes Democrats, the media, and many Republicans.

His resignation or impeachment wouldn’t be enough.  He needs to face treason charges and punishment at the end of a rope or in front of a firing squad, along with his family.  His supporters are guilty by association and must face similar justice.

But in To Kill a Mockingbird, Atticus Finch told Scout, “You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view, until you climb inside of his skin and walk around in it.”  This is the essence of empathy.  You can’t understand someone until you’ve “walked a mile in his shoes.”

Let’s for a moment climb inside Donald Trump’s skin and walk around in it.

Trump was a successful businessman, a billionaire who owns properties, resorts, golf courses, and hotels around the world.  He owned a huge private jet, only a half-step down from the one he currently uses.  He has a beautiful wife and family; his children are smart and following in his business footsteps.  He hosted a wildly successful television show, was a household name and a darling of the media before he decided to run for president.

Yet he gave that up.  Why would he do that?  As a septuagenarian, did his ego demand one more even bigger prize?  Or, as some have speculated, was he approached by a group of patriots several years ago and told in no uncertain terms about the Deep State and America’s trajectory into the abyss?  Perhaps he was told that he was the only one who could run for president, have a chance of winning, then slow or stop America’s decline.

Did he, as a consummate patriot, take up the challenge?  Someday we may learn why he gave up a comfortable and successful life in exchange for endless scorn and derision.

In Hillary Clinton he fought a political opponent who was challenging, not personally, but for what and whom she represented: the establishments of both parties, the donor classes, the media, Hollywood, academia, and the Clinton machine that has been active since the Clintons’ days in Arkansas.

Donald Trump worked his butt off, campaigning around the clock.  From his tweets at 4 A.M. to his campaign rallies in multiple states in a single day, he worked harder than any candidate in recent memory.  His opponent did the opposite.  Sipping chardonnay and napping, she listened to her cheerleaders in the media as they fawned over her every utterance, telling her repeatedly that she would win the election easily.

Media coverage of Trump was and still is over 90 percent negative.  His own party worked against his election, the party he represented and brought victory to.  The big names in the GOP tried to undermine him – McCain, Romney, Bush, Ryan – all past presidents or candidates, the heavy hitters in the GOP, not to mention the Republican NeverTrump whiners and wimps.

Then there was the Deep State led by a treasonous ex-president and his no-ethics, no-honor Democrats — the unelected and unaccountable three-letter agencies, conspiring and working against Donald Trump not only as a candidate but also after he became president.  They spied on his campaign, creating fictional dossiers used to justify FBI surveillance of Trump, his family, and his entire campaign staff.  It was a concerted effort by the leadership of these agencies to prevent his election, and then to destroy his presidency as a Plan B.

Phony accusations of Russian collusion tainted his presidency and provided a cloud over his election, much like a successful athlete winning a championship fair and square and against all odds, then having his victory tainted with the accusation of rigging or cheating.  How would such a winner react to claims that he didn’t really win…especially when he had worked so hard for victory and had so little help in the process?

The Russian collusion story taints Trump’s successful campaign and election.  The Mueller investigation and drumbeat from the media share the common refrain that Trump is an illegitimate president, that he cheated to win, conspiring with an enemy country.  This is the same country, ironically, that so many of Trump’s critics were in love with only a few years ago.

Trump has been working hard as president, accomplishing more in his first 500 days than any of his predecessors – tax cuts, a roaring economy, record unemployment, a reversal of 50 years of failed policy toward North Korea, strong judicial picks, rebuilding the American relationship with Israel, and so on.  Does he get any credit from the media or his own party?  Hardly.  Instead, scorn and insults continue to rain down on him.  Wouldn’t you be frustrated and bitter standing in his shoes?  Absolutely you would.

Last is the Mueller indictment of 12 phantom Russians over supposedly hacking the DNC computers – computers the FBI did not even examine.  Indictments are simply accusations, not verdicts in a court of law, and were announced the last business day before Trump’s Russia summit.  What a coincidence of timing, putting Trump in a box where he had to either validate the Russian collusion narrative or question the veracity of the U.S. intelligence community.  Always the pragmatic contrarian, he chose the latter option during his press conference with Putin.

Does Trump fully trust the intelligence services, the same ones that conspired to spy on his campaign and undermine his election, then tried to overturn his presidency?  Would you trust these agencies if you were subjected to all the lies and the duplicity they have heaped upon our duly elected president? Of course you wouldn’t trust them. All this is based on the nonsensical assertion that Russia hacked the election, an absurd concept that even Obama said was impossible: “There is no serious person out there who would suggest somehow that you could ever rig America’s elections.”

This is the same intelligence community that exonerated Hillary Clinton for crimes proven but never investigated, yet indicted Donald Trump for crimes investigated ad nauseam but never proven.  The same Intelligence Community that told the world that Saddam had WMDs and then dragged the U.S. and other countries into a costly and counterproductive war.

Put yourself in Trump’s shoes: a highly successful businessman, in the latter years of his life, taking on the Herculean task of running for and winning the U.S. presidency.  In victory he finds nothing but abuse, scorn, and betrayal by friend and foe alike.  He is surrounded by landmines, and the US intelligence agencies do all they can to make sure he steps on one landmine after another.  This is a journey few mortals would undertake, much less survive.

Is it any wonder he is pushing back against those trying to destroy him and his presidency, including the FBI, DOJ, and CIA, all in the thick of seditious activity against our duly elected president?  He has few friends in Washington, D.C.; many who should have his back seem only eager to bury a knife in it instead.

Donald Trump is a man chosen by ordinary people, a man trying to make America great again despite only scorn and opposition coming back from those he wants to help.

[From an article by Brian C. Joondeph, a Denver-based physician and writer]

NORM ‘n’ AL Note: All those Americans who can never find anything good to say about Mr. Trump should try to reflect honestly on what this country might now be like had Horrible Hillary won the election…a woman who proved, just like Obama did, that the primary qualifications in a Democrat candidate for political office are a complete lack of honor, a lack of any sense of ethics, and a willingness to lie in any situation.  There are lots of countries around the world where you can find precisely this kind of person occupying the top office.  Thank God the USA isn’t one of them anymore.

Why the Democrats have finally turned on the Clintons

The C stands for "criminal."

In the winter of ’56, Khrushchev told the 20th Congress of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union that Stalin may not have been a very nice guy. In the fall of ’17, the media began to concede that maybe Bill Clinton did abuse a whole bunch of women. And maybe those women weren’t really part of a vast right-wing conspiracy to make a bloated piggish progressive ex-prez seem like he might not be a very nice guy.

Why are Democrats turning on the Clintons? Same reason Khrushchev turned on Stalin. They’re purging the Clintons for the same reasons that they defended them. They’re calling out Bill Clinton for his sexual assaults for the same reasons that they covered them up. It’s about power and money.

The Democrats smeared Bill Clinton’s accusers then. Now they’ll exploit them to throw the Clintons out.

The #MeToo campaign provided an opening. But if you really want to understand why the left is disavowing Bill Clinton, ignore the hashtags and look at the bigger picture.

Earlier this month, the rollout of Donna Brazile’s book raked Hillary Clinton and her campaign over the coals. The former interim DNC boss made the case that the Clinton campaign had rigged the primaries.

Brazile’s outrage at the rigging is laughable. Not only was she caught passing a debate question to Hillary, but the only reason she was allowed to replace Debbie Wasserman Schultz is that she was a Clintonista who had served as a Clinton adviser and was promoted to head Gore’s campaign.

After Hillary’s collapse, Brazile was left out in the cold. Like Schultz, she was one of Hillary’s fall girls. And unlike Schultz, she didn’t have a cozy congressional district to call her own. Her CNN contract was torn up after the debate question leak. (Though if you think CNN was actually surprised that a Clinton ally leaked it to the Clintons, you’re also shocked that there’s gambling going on at Rick’s Cafe Americain. CNN had to disavow Donna who then had to disavow Hillary. Now the Dems are disavowing the Clintons.)

Brazile’s book tour was Act 1 in purging the Clintons from the Dem establishment. Talking about Bill Clinton’s sexual harassment and abuses is Act 2. And the odds are very good that there’s an Act 3. Or 4. Or 5.

Why get rid of the Clintons? Let’s look at what the First Grifters have been doing to the Dems.

In May, Hillary rolled out Onward Together. The new SuperPAC was supposed to fundraise for lefty groups. But the groups don’t actually appear to be getting the cash.

Understandable. The “flat broke” Clintons always have lots of bills to pay and private jets to book. And good chardonnay doesn’t come cheap.

Fresh from that success, a paid advisor to Hillary co-launched something called Party Majority. This wonderful new organization would “act as a parallel structure to Democratic Party committees at the national and state levels,” vacuuming up a whole lot of cash while putting its boot on the DNC.

The Clintons were once again trying to displace the DNC. And that would let them skim a lot of cash from the DNC to fund their political operation and lifestyle. And, even once again, rig the process.

Who’s up for Hillary in 2020?  Party Majority rolled out in early November.  Since then the Clintons are suddenly being hit from all sides by their own party.  Funny how that works.

If President Hillary Clinton were in the White House, the First Gentleman could work his way through an entire nunnery and every media outlet in the country would praise him as our greatest feminist.

If the Clintons had done the decent thing (for the first time in their miserable grifter lives) and stepped away from politics, Bill could have been a bitter, bigoted and befuddled Democrat elder statesman.  Just like Jimmy Carter.  But the Clintons just wouldn’t stop. And so the circular firing squad has finally been convened. Its members are hypocritically pretending that they’re purging Bill because they suddenly care about the women he sexually assaulted over the years.

It only took the Dems an entire generation to figure out that rape is wrong.

Hillary Clinton’s approval ratings are terrible. Every time she goes on television, more people are likely to vote Republican. Her entire existence is a reminder of why the Democrats lost so badly in ’16.

Not only won’t Hillary Clinton retire to bake cookies and send anonymous threatening letters to her neighbors because their kids occasionally throw a ball over her mansion’s iron gates, but she insists on sabotaging the 2020 candidates who are her party’s best hope to succeed where she miserably failed.

Hillary Clinton’s book, What Happened, took numerous shots at Bernie Sanders. And her entire book tour appeared designed to sabotage his book tour. Then she began attacking Joe Biden.  Both Bernie and Joe, unlike her, are viable 2020 candidates. (Which says nothing good about the Dems.)

The media doesn’t suddenly “believe Juanita”.  Or rather it always knew that Juanita Broaddrick, Kathleen Willey, Paula Jones and the other women were telling the truth. It didn’t silence them because it thought they were lying.  It silenced them because they were telling the truth about Bubba Clinton.

Now Bill Clinton isn’t the media’s guy anymore. And he’s becoming a huge problem.

What the media does believe, without question, is that the Clintons will continue to be a liability that might cost them victories in 2018 and 2020. The DNC badly needs money. The Clintons are once again posing a threat to the DNC’s financial viability. And the Dems have become less willing to lose House and Senate seats to sate the insatiable greed of Bill and Hillary Grifter.

Then there’s 2020. The Dems don’t want to risk their nominee facing passive aggressive attacks by Hillary Clinton. Nor do they want to see Hillary Clinton on the air for the entire election period firing shots at their candidates.

The Clintons could have had a nice retirement. Seats on boards and foundations. Occasional smaller scale speaking gigs. Bill could have been a featured speaker at the next DNC convention.  And maybe even Hillary in a lesser role.

But they wouldn’t go quietly. And now the left is making it a mandatory retirement.

Act 1 blames Hillary for rigging the primaries. Act 2 calls out Bill’s abuse of women. Acts 3, 4 and 5 will delve into some other Clinton scandals that Democrats have been denying for over a generation. If the Clintons don’t get the message, the final act will plant a big red boot in their behinds.

And this won’t even be the first time the Dems tried to get rid of the Clintons.

After Bill’s time was up, the Dems and the media tried to head off a Hillary political career at the pass. Let’s flip through the pages of the New York Times in 2001 that describe Hillary’s “calamitous Senate debut” and cautions that “talk about her presidential prospects has ground to a halt.”

“The man is so thoroughly corrupt it’s frightening,” a Times column reads. “The Clintons may or may not be led away in handcuffs someday.”

In AmSoc, history is constantly being rewritten. A few years later, no criticism of the Clintons could be allowed. And everyone forgot that Carter’s chief-of-staff had called them “The First Grifters.”  Or at least they pretended to forget.

It’s not the first time that the Dems have tried to get rid of the Clintons. But it might be the last.

Like Stalin’s Communist successors, Democrats should not be allowed to pretend that they knew nothing or that their purge of the Clintons is motivated by a sudden attack of integrity.  They’re purging the Clintons for the same reason that they covered up for them.

They’re calling out Bill Clinton for his sexual assaults for the same reason that they covered them up.

They did it out of political self-interest then. And they’re doing it out of political self-interest now. There’s nothing clean or honest about what they’re doing. There’s no moral reckoning here. Only a political reckoning. It’s not about the women Bill abused. It’s about DNC cash and the 2020 election.

That’s the dirty, ugly truth. And it’s as dirty and ugly as the Clintons and the Democrats.

Trouble is, dirty and ugly is the only way the Clintons know how to do anything.

“The loser won’t leave…”

The loser won't leave...

If you’re wondering what a failed presidential candidate who deletes files with a hammer was doing at the Recode CodeCon 2017, you’re not the only one. While attendees tried to wrap their heads around the idea of Hillary Clinton headlining an event dedicated to the digital realm, Hillary confirmed their reservations. The old girl herself, whose own relationship with cyber-security is limited to the occasional visit to the bathroom, launched a rant in which she added a bunch of new names to her personal enemies’ list.

Among those whom Hillary fingered for her November faceplant were the usual suspects, villains like sexism and nameless Russian interlopers. But she also made special mention of a new group: the Democratic Party. That’s right, folks. According to the woman whose victory was all but assured, the people who did the assuring lied to her. “I set up my campaign and we have our own data operation. I get the nomination. So I’m now the nominee of the Democratic Party. I inherit nothing from the Democratic Party… it was bankrupt, it was on the verge of insolvency, its data was mediocre to poor, nonexistent, wrong.”

There’s gratitude for you. The Democrats actively intervened in the primary process to tilt the delegate count to Hillary, and she turned around and kicked them under the bus. And forget about “sisters before misters.” The list of party heavies who publicly disgraced themselves on her behalf includes not one, but two chairpersons; both of whom — Donna Brazile and Debbie Wasserman-Schultz — are supposedly “strong women” like Hillary. I guess there really isn’t any honor among liberals.

But her own teammates weren’t the only ones to face the fickle finger of failure. Nana also turned her rage on the media. She specifically singled out The New York Times, claiming they covered her embarrassing email debacle like it was Pearl Harbor. Putting aside the incredible arrogance in comparing her own flame out to one of the darkest hours in American history, she allowed classified information to turn up on a sexual predator’s laptop and lied about it repeatedly, but it’s The Times’ fault for noticing.

With every public appearance, Hillary Clinton expands the roster of people on whom she pins the total annihilation of her ambitions. Oddly, one name continues to elude mention. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz didn’t keep Hillary from visiting Wisconsin and a sizeable number of Rust Belt residents during her ill-fated campaign. Donna Brazile didn’t call half the electorate “deplorable.” The New York Times didn’t tell a national television audience half the electorate are her “enemies.” And none of them suggested wiping vital facts from cyberspace “like, with a cloth.”

A great many conservatives react to each stop on Madame Clinton’s Conspiracy Theory World Tour by rolling their eyes and wishing she would check into the old losers’ home once and for all. Her continued public displays of disloyalty help to undermine President Donald Trump’s efforts to undo the damage done by his predecessor’s administration, an administration which notably included Hillary. She inflames an already-emotionally unstable liberal intelligentsia, which leads to the violent outbursts which the Democrats now substitute for public discourse.

I say: “Let the old bat rant!” As long as she remains the Democrats’ top spokesloser, they’ll remain in the past. While it’s true that her public tantrums divert attention from the real problems the nation faces, they also divert attention from the real problems the Democratic Party faces, and a Democrat can’t put a price on that.

Why liberals (still) want to get rid of the Electoral College voting system

Liberals argue it’s not fair that someone can garner more votes than his or her opponent but still lose the election because of the Electoral College. They say it’s a system that disadvantages Democrats.

NORM ‘n’ AL Note:  It does NOT disadvantage Democrats, it levels the playing field — as it was designed to do — so that rural votes have the same overall weight as big-city votes. What DOES disadvantage Democrats are lying, stupid, corrupt Democrats, as Clinton and Obama have both now proven beyond dispute.

As many have pointed out time and time again, if we decided elections purely by popular vote, candidates would not bother campaigning in Middle America. They’d focus on the big cities. New York and Los Angeles would decide every election.

The Electoral College makes it so that a candidate has to have widespread support across the nation, instead of having the support of a few, densely populated population pockets.

Bill O’Reilly of Fox News explains:

After Hillary Clinton won the popular vote, the left in America is demanding that the Electoral College system, put into place in 1787, be scrapped.

But there is a hidden reason for this. As we have reported, even though Secretary Clinton won the popular vote by 2.8 million, the progressive state of California provided that margin, Clinton defeating Trump there by about 4.3 million votes.

So, if the Electoral College were abolished, presidential candidates could simply campaign in the nation’s largest states and cities – New York, LA, Chicago, Houston – and rack up enough votes to pretty much win any election.

That’s what the left wants – because in the large urban areas and blue states like New York and California, minorities are substantial.  Look at the landscape – Philadelphia, Dallas – Fort Worth, Miami – in all of these places the minority vote usually goes heavily to the Democrats.  Add that to New York City, LA, Chicago, and San Francisco and you don’t really have a national election anymore, you have targeted populations.

Newspapers like the New York Times and the L.A. Times have editorialized to get rid of the Electoral College.  They well know that neutralizing the largely white rural areas in the Midwest and South will assure liberal politicians get power and keep it.

Talking Points believes this is all about race. The left sees white privilege in America as an oppressive force that must be done away with.  Therefore white working-class voters must be marginalized, and what better way to do that than center the voting power in the cities?

Very few commentators will tell you that the heart of liberalism in America is based on race.  It permeates almost every issue – that white men have set up a system of oppression and that system must be destroyed.  Bernie Sanders peddled that. To some extent Hillary Clinton did. And the liberal media tries to sell that all day long.

So-called white privilege bad; diversity good.  If you look at the voting patterns, it is clear that the Democrats are heavily reliant on the minority vote.  Also on the female vote.  White men have largely abandoned the Democrats and the left believes this is because of racism – that they want to punish minorities and keep them down.

So that’s what’s really going on when you hear about the Electoral College and how unfair it allegedly is.

Summing up, the left wants power taken away from the white establishment and they want a profound change in the way America is run.  Taking voting power away from white precincts, and putting it in the hands of Democrat voting blocs, is the quickest way to do that.

NORM ‘n’ AL Note:  Once again, Democrats are demonstrating that they want a voting system that is NOT best for the country, but best for them.  When are we going to see a Democrat — ANY Democrat — who is in favor of doing what he or she was elected to do, which is to make the USA a better place to live and work?

Here’s proof that common sense is not extinct yet!

Good grief, Charlie Brown. What a bunch of blockheads.

A school principal in Killeen, Texas, got her bells jingled after ordering a staffer on Wednesday to remove a Charlie Brown Christmas poster quoting the famous Bible passage in the book of Luke which says “For unto you is born this day in the city of David a savior which is Christ the Lord.” The poster also then shows Linus saying “That’s what Christmas is all about, Charlie Brown.”

Well, ma’am, this is Texas. As in “don’t mess with.” And one of the things they don’t mess with is Christmas. So when the state attorney general called, the school principal probably knew to expect a lump of coal in her stocking.

“This is an attack on religious liberty and a violation of the First Amendment and state law,” Attorney General Ken Paxton said. “I am calling on the school board of the Killeen Independent School District to immediately reverse their unlawful decision.”

The school board has a long history of standing up for religious liberty. The Board of Trustees voted to change the name of “Winter Break” to “Christmas Break,” refused to cease praying before meetings, and ignored the federal Department of Education’s demand for transgender bathrooms.

In 2013, then-Gov. Rick Perry, a Republican, signed the “Merry Christmas” bill into law. TheBlaze reported that this legislation protected public school officials’ right to make biblical references to Christmas. The principal might have inadvertently broken this law.

This isn’t Linus’ first foray into the storm of political correctness. Fox News reported that last year a Kentucky school cancelled a Charlie Brown Christmas play due to the inclusion of Bible verses.

In another school, one horrified grandmother told WND that “Silent Night” had been replaced by the “Whip Nae Nae” song. Seriously.

The hypocrisy of school officials who preach diversity but miss no opportunity to exclude all things Christian is glaringly nonsensical.  December 25th  is called Christmas. Not Wintermas, not Breakmas, not Giftmas.  At the center of the holiday is Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God. He was a flesh-and-blood, real, historical person, the evidence for which is overwhelming, both in the Bible and in secular writings.  Our schools might as well start teaching that George Washington never existed as to try to ignore Jesus the Messiah.

Thank you, Linus.

Merry Christmas, Charlie Brown.

Texas, we’re depending on you.

Hillary’s doomed recount effort still doomed: “Borders On The Irrational,” says judge

Four days after Green Party candidate and Hillary Clinton point woman Jill Stein was informed by a federal district court judge that she had no standing to call for a vote recount in Michigan, she received the same “Dear Jill” letter this morning from a judge in Pennsylvania. From the Associated Press:

A federal judge on Monday issued a stinging rejection of a Green Party-backed request to recount paper ballots in Pennsylvania’s presidential election, won by Republican Donald Trump, and scan some counties’ election systems for signs of hacking.

In his 31-page decision, U.S. District Judge Paul Diamond said there were at least six grounds that required him to reject the Green Party’s lawsuit, which had been opposed by Trump, the Pennsylvania Republican Party and the Pennsylvania attorney general’s office.

Suspicion of a hacked Pennsylvania election “borders on the irrational” while granting the Green Party’s recount bid could “ensure that that no Pennsylvania vote counts” given Tuesday’s federal deadline to certify the vote for the Electoral College, Diamond wrote.

America’s Sore Loser Party (aka the Democrats) may just tell its members to hold their breath and pout till their faces turn a much deeper shade of blue.

NORM ‘n’ AL Note:  Call us crazy, but we think the whole “Hillary for President” thing bordered on the irrational.

You saw it here first, folks: The Official T-Shirt of the Hillary Campaign

Official Hillary campaign T-shirt

It’s really pretty pathetic, isn’t it?

Hillary Clinton has been in the public eye for decades, she is desperately trying to salvage a run for the Oval Office, and the simple T-shirt above is expressing exactly what a majority of both US and world citizens think of her.

How would you like it if you had worked and worked and worked, reaching the age of your late sixties or early seventies, only to discover that almost everyone you meet thinks you are not qualified to be on the janitorial staff of the White House, let alone to be its primary occupant?

Hillary is just that pathetic.

What’s even more pathetic is that she thinks she’s rock-star material, when the public sees she doesn’t have the good sense to simply pack up and go home.
