SPLC has now inspired two blatant acts of terrorism on US soil, but our media continue to promote the misnamed Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) as the arbiter of what’s good and right in America today

US media have crowned the misnamed Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) as the arbiter of what’s good and right in America today. Ironically, it was the SPLC that inspired an act of terrorism on American soil, when a gay militant opened fire on the Washington office of the Family Research Council. He saw the group listed on an SPLC “hate map.”

Now we learn that James Hodgkinson, the gunman who shot House Majority Whip Steve Scalise (R-LA) and three other people on Wednesday, had “liked” the Southern Poverty Law Center on Facebook.

Isn’t it fascinating how a group that is regularly portrayed by the media as an expert on “extremists” is at the center of two terrorist incidents in the Washington, D.C. area?

It doesn’t really matter that the SPLC has denounced the Hodgkinson attack. What matters is that the media should stop using the SPLC as a resource for statements about the supposed extremism of groups other than the SPLC.

The pattern is clear. Those consumed with hatred of conservatives, or motivated by Marxism, are going to the SPLC for inspiration. Like the gay militant Floyd Corkins before him, James Hodgkinson probably used his computer to search the SPLC website and gather “intelligence” on his political enemies.

The SPLC is a despicable organization that in the past has been used as a resource by the Department of Justice and the FBI. Let’s hope those days are over. But considering the turmoil in the department, we really have no way of knowing.

The FBI could, and should, issue a statement noting the role of the SPLC in the climate of violence gripping the United States. Perhaps that might have a salutary effect on this organization.

However, at this point, the FBI is still reportedly searching for a motive behind the Hodgkinson shooting spree. The FBI is even circulating a flier declaring him “deceased” and asking the public to call the FBI hotline if they have information about what Hodgkinson has been doing in the D.C. area over the past several months.

The FBI says, “James T. Hodgkinson, deceased, is believed to be responsible for the shooting in the 400 Block of E. Monroe Avenue in Alexandria, Virginia, around 7:09 a.m. on June 14, 2017. The FBI is asking for the public’s assistance with any information regarding Hodgkinson.”

This is bureaucratic gobbledygook (defined as “language that is meaningless or is made unintelligible by excessive use of abstruse technical terms; nonsense”).

This is an even simpler case to solve than the anthrax letters case, in which the FBI investigators could see on the envelopes the phrases “Death to Israel” and “Death to America.” Still, then-FBI Director Robert Mueller blew that case, blaming American scientists for terrorism carried out by Al Qaeda.

In the Hodgkinson case, we have pictures of him marching against the rich and glorifying Bernie Sanders. We have his Facebook posts devoted to liberal causes like global warming, “likes” of various far-left groups like the SPLC, and an addiction to MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow show, which has been obsessed with Donald Trump and Russia. Hodgkinson swallowed it hook, line, and sinker, concluding that Trump and other Republicans had to be “terminated” for treason.

“One of my favorite TV shows is ‘The Rachel Maddow Show’ on MSNBC,” he said in a letter to the local paper. “On a recent show she stated that 17 very rich men are supplying the Republican Party with more than 60 percent of their campaign contributions.”

Still, the FBI is searching for a motive. We understand the motive. What we need to understand is the Marxist theory of hatred and class warfare that is being promoted by news organizations like MSNBC, and which drives somebody like Hodgkinson to kill.

Like the Islamic terrorists identified by President Trump as losers, Hodgkinson was a loser, too. A typical liberal motivated by Marxist jargon, he had employment and personal problems that he blamed on the rich.

But Hodgkinson was not a loner. He was a proud liberal who openly proclaimed his hatred on the Internet, and belonged to or liked a whole network of left-wing organizations. He had a support apparatus that still exists and which may currently be producing more would-be shooters.

Will MSNBC rein in Maddow’s ranting and raving against Trump and the Republicans? Not likely. Her ratings are too high. The market for left-wing hate is growing, and she’s making too much money for the channel. More money, not less, stands to be made by stoking the fires of hatred.

As for the SPLC, it says, “We’re aware that the SPLC was among hundreds of groups that the man identified as the shooter ‘liked’ on Facebook. I want to be as clear as I can possibly be: The SPLC condemns all forms of violence. We have worked for decades to combat domestic terrorism and violence based on hate.”

That, dear friends, is nothing but more gobbledygook.  Nonsense.  Meaningless unintelligible language.  SPLC doesn’t know any better.  The FBI certainly should.

Well, golly gee willikers, another important laptop computer belonging to Hillary Clinton has gone missing…can you believe it?

How can she run YOUR life when she cannot manage her own?A personal laptop computer used to archive Hillary Clinton’s e-mails when she was secretary of state went missing after being put in the mail, according to the FBI’s report on its investigation into her use of a private e-mail system.

E-mails that Clinton sent and received through her private server during her tenure were archived on the laptop in 2013 by a person who was an assistant to former President Bill Clinton, the FBI said in its heavily redacted investigative report released Friday.

Someone whose name was redacted in the FBI report told the agency that he later deleted the e-mails from the laptop but didn’t wipe its hard drive. A computer technician can often recover such e-mails that have been deleted but not permanently erased from a laptop’s memory.

The FBI sought the laptop as part of its investigation, but its whereabouts remain unknown, the bureau said. The last time the laptop was seen was when it was put in the mail.
[from a report by NEWSMAX.COM]
NORM ‘n’ AL Note:  Is this the same FBI which used to have the respect of every American, both the good guys and the bad ones?  The same FBI which recently decided it couldn’t really find enough good evidence to bring Hillary into court? So what happened in this recent instance, guys? Must have gone down something like this:
Clinton office:  (answering phone)  Hello…the FBI? Sure we know who you are. (Covering phone mouthpiece, snickering:  Yeah, it’s the Fat Boys Institute again.)  What can we do for you today, Mr. Fibby?
FBI:  We need that laptop…y’know, the one we asked you for weeks ago. The one with all the stored emails from Hillary’s years at state…the one you were supposed to deliver to us. We don’t have it yet.
Clinton office:  Well, gosh…are you sure? I’ll ask around the office, maybe find out if anyone has seen it or knows anything about…
FBI:  Okay, look…no more of this delaying stuff…we’re pretty sure you guys are just phonewalling us, no, no, that’s not it, STONEwalling us…y’know, delaying things on purpose. As a matter of fact, we’re…
Clinton office:  (interrupting)  You can’t possibly mean that!  Tell ya what we’ll do…we’ll put that laptop into the mail to you THIS AFTERNOON.  Will that get your tighty whities untwisted?  We’ll send that doggone laptop right out TODAY.  No kidding.  I’ll even look up your DC address to make SURE you get it.  No, don’t thank me…it’s the least we can do…

A smart and gracious former candidate offers a response to America in light of FBI refusal to do its duty

News broke Tuesday morning revealing that the rule of law in the United States of America has been perhaps mortally wounded, an injury made clear by the FBI announcement that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will not face criminal charges related to her private email server scandal.

Such was the view of former Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina, who took to her Facebook page immediately after the shocking announcement to share her thoughts on the subject.

Fiorina outlined no less than seven glaring admissions made by FBI Director James Comey in his statement announcing the non-indictment of the presumptive Democrat presidential nominee, admissions that signified Clinton’s apparent guilt in the matter.

First and foremost, Fiorina noted that the FBI admitted what most Americans already knew — that Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server to conduct official government business endangered the lives of the American people.

The FBI Director also made clear that Hillary Clinton was “extremely careless” in handling our nation’s top secrets. He also noted that “no reasonable person” would believe it to be “appropriate or acceptable” to place emails containing said secrets on a private server.

Furthermore, Comey made clear that Hillary Clinton lied to the American people about the classified nature of the emails, as he admitted that at least 110 emails were classified at the time they originated, not after the fact, as the Clinton camp has repeatedly claimed.

On top of that, he also revealed that Clinton had deleted work-related emails from her private server before turning it over to the FBI, again in direct contradiction of claims her campaign has made to the contrary.

As if that weren’t enough, Comey also confirmed the likely possibility that Clinton’s private email server had been hacked by foreign government intelligence services, meaning our nation’s rivals are likely in possession of critical state secrets that could potentially be used against our interests.

Lastly, but certainly not least, Comey also admitted that anyone else caught in a similar situation and circumstances would most likely be punished to the full extent of the law.

“It’s not just a miscarriage of justice, but a blow to the very heart of our democracy,” Fiorina wrote. “This is a shameful day for the rule of law and the security of our nation, no matter what your political beliefs may be.”

“The Obama administration might be circling the wagons, and doing all they can to prop up their corrupt, incompetent, untrustworthy Democratic nominee — but the American people know better,” she concluded. “And if our government won’t make her face consequences, voters will.”

Carly Fiorina is absolutely correct in her summation of this day’s miscarriage of justice. Her listing of Comey’s own admissions of Hillary Clinton’s guilt should provide ample fodder for those critical of our nation’s seeming descent into the realm of a banana republic, where the rules and laws do not apply to the politically connected elite.

[published by the Conservative Tribune]

NORM ‘n’ AL Note:  We suspected all along, as the FBI needed more and more time to complete its ever-so-thorough investigation of the Hillary hijinks caper, that the FBI was not going to apply the same standards of justice to Hillary as it might apply to other Americans.  Perhaps you suspected the same thing.  Obviously Carly Fiorina also suspected the same, and had her response to it ready and loaded.  Here is the bottom line, folks.  If Hillary is nominated by the Dems to run in November, and if you vote for her, you are telling her (1) you approve of her criminal behavior; (2) you are willing to overlook that behavior in sending her to the Oval Office; (3) you will no longer expect the USA to be a nation of justice, since justice is not evenly applied to all citizens; and (4) that whatever she does when she gets to the Oval Office has your blind and thoughtless approval.  Hillary will thank you by taking the reins firmly in hand and driving this country completely off the cliff, hoping you are in the entourage that is following her all the way to the bottom.  Welcome to the USABR  (Banana Republic).  As for the FBI, since it can no longer be called a true bureau of investigation, we suspect the letters must only stand for Fat Boys Institute.

Obama administration continues to push to import hundreds of thousands of Muslim refugees from Syria, even though our defense and security agencies continue to report that we cannot possibly weed out all security risks

Obama continues to offer platitudes and rhetoric that directly contradict his actions when it comes to protecting our nation. In comments he made on Wednesday the President tried to offer some comfort to the American people about the state of national security in relation to events happening abroad.

“Right now, we know of no specific and credible intelligence indicating a plot on the homeland,” Obama said on Wednesday afternoon, also adding that U.S. intelligence officials “are constantly working overtime to protect all of us.”

norm-al-151128

But for many of us, the events in Paris have touched a deep chord. We continue to do everything possible to prevent attacks at home and abroad and to prevent foreign terrorist fighters from entering the United States or other nations. In the event of a specific credible threat, the public will be informed.  If you see something, say something,” the President added. “That’s always helpful.”

The problem with all this silly rhetoric is that it is running smack into the reality that the Obama administration continues to push to import hundreds of thousands of Muslim refugees from Syria, even though our defense and security agencies continue to report that we cannot possibly vet all of the refugees in an effort to weed out the security risks.

“There are a lot of holes — gaping holes,” Rep. Michael McCaul (R-Texas) said on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”

In addition, McCaul has warned that an influx of Syrian refugees fleeing the ongoing chaos provides a perfect opportunity for Islamic extremists to slip into the U.S. or another country undetected.

“This causes a great concern on the part of policymakers, because we don’t want to be complicit with a program that could bring potential terrorists into the United States,” McCaul said.

FBI Director James Comey voiced very similar concerns a month earlier:

During a Senate Homeland Security Committee hearing on Thursday, FBI Director James Comey sounded a cautious note that is likely to be picked up by critics of the White House’s plan to welcome more refugees into the U.S.

“My concern there is there are certain gaps … in the data available to us,” Comey said.  “There is risk associated in bringing anybody in from the outside, but specifically from a conflict zone like that,” he added.  “There is no such thing as a no-risk enterprise and there are deficits that we face.”

In particular, the lack of solid on-the-ground intelligence assets in Syria has clouded the U.S.’s ability to crosscheck the backgrounds of every refugee hoping to come to the U.S., according to  Comey and other national security officials.

Unbelievable but true: IRS finds yet another Lois Lerner email account…

Lois Lerner had yet another personal email account used to conduct some IRS business, the tax agency confirmed in a new court filing late Monday that further complicates the administration’s efforts to be transparent about Ms. Lerner’s actions during the tea party targeting scandal.

NORM ‘n’ AL Note:  Anyone in the entire USA who still thinks that the Obama administration EVER had any desire to be “transparent” about ANYTHING has not been paying attention for the last several years. It has always been Obama’s goal to be as non-transparent (that means “secretive”) as possible.

The admission came in an open-records lawsuit filed by Judicial Watch, a conservative public interest law firm that has sued to get a look at emails Ms. Lerner sent during the targeting.

IRS lawyer Geoffrey J. Klimas told the court that as the agency was putting together a set of documents to turn over to Judicial Watch, it realized Ms. Lerner had used yet another email account, in addition to her official one and another personal one already known to the agency.

“In addition to emails to or from an email account denominated ‘Lois G. Lerner‘ or ‘Lois Home,’ some emails responsive to Judicial Watch’s request may have been sent to or received from a personal email account denominated ‘Toby Miles,’” Mr. Klimas told Judge Emmet G. Sullivan, who is hearing the case.

It is unclear who Toby Miles is, but Mr. Klimas said the IRS has concluded that was “a personal email account used by Lerner.”

Tom Fitton, president of Judicial Watch, said it was stunning the agency was just now admitting the existence of the address.

“It is simply astonishing that years after this scandal erupted we are learning about an account Lois Lerner used that evidently hadn’t been searched,” he said, accusing the IRS of hiding Lerner-related information throughout — including the existence of the backup tapes of her official email account, which the agency’s inspector general easily found once it went looking for them.

Mr. Klimas didn’t respond to an email seeking comment Monday evening, and a spokeswoman for the tax agency didn’t respond to an email and phone call.

But in his court filing Mr. Klimas argued that the IRS had previously hinted there may be other personal email accounts, pointing back to a footnote in a letter attached to a June 27, 2014, brief that mentioned “documents located on her personal home computer and email on her personal email account.”

He altered that wording in his filing Monday, saying the database of Lerner emails turned over to Congress included messages from her “‘personal home computer and email on her personal email’ account(s).”

The use of secret or extra email accounts has bedeviled the Obama administration, which is has tried to fend off a slew of lawsuits involving former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton and her top aides, the White House’s top science adviser, top Environmental Protection Agency officials and the IRS.

Those cases have flooded the federal district court in Washington. Indeed, Judge Sullivan, who is handling the current IRS case, is also presiding over Judicial Watch’s lawsuit seeking Mrs. Clinton’s emails.

Last week, Judge Sullivan ordered the State Department to talk to the FBI about trying to recover messages that Mrs. Clinton may have kept on the email server she ran out of her home in New York.

Mr. Fitton said just as Mrs. Clinton is facing questions over whether she kept classified information on her non-secure email account, Ms. Lerner should face questions about whether she exchanged protected taxpayer information from personal email accounts.

Ms. Lerner’s emails became an issue after she was singled out as a key figure in the IRS’s treatment of tea party and conservative groups who sought tax-exempt status. The IRS improperly delayed hundreds of applications and sent out intrusive questionnaires asking what the agency now says were inappropriate inquiries.

In the wake of the scandal Ms. Lerner retired from the agency. She declined to testify to Congress, citing her right against self-incrimination, but also said she did not break the law.

The Obama administration has declined to pursue the contempt of Congress case that the House brought against her.

The House Ways and Means Committee also approved a criminal referral asking the Justice Department to look into Ms. Lerner’s conduct, but its status is not clear.

Mr. Obama has said the problems at the IRS stemmed from bad laws and lack of funding, not from political bias, and a bipartisan report from the Senate Finance Committee could not reach any firm conclusions about the extent of targeting.

Curiously, the Ways and Means Committee criminal referral mentioned the Toby Miles email address, identified as tobomatic@msn.com. The address came to light because it was included on an email that also had Ms. Lerner’s official account on the chain of recipients.

An email sent to the msn.com address Monday night went unanswered.

At the time of the referral in April 2014, the committee linked the Toby Miles address to Ms. Lerner’s husband, Michael R. Miles, but said, “The source of the name ‘Toby‘ is not known.”

[by Stephen Dinan, writing for The Washington Times]

NORM ‘n’ AL Note:  All that targeting ruckus at the IRS came about because of “bad laws and lack of funding, not from political bias”?  So Lois Lerner declined to testify because she would otherwise incriminate herself, also due to bad laws and lack of funding?  No political bias there from Lerner, even in spite of her own recorded heavily-biased comments?  If this is what you call transparency, Mr. Z, you can keep it…

Nowhere to hide as facial recognition technology is deployed across America

Facial recognition as good as a fingerprint...

What is our society going to look like when our faces are being tracked literally everywhere that we go?

As part of the FBI’s new Next Generation Identification System, a facial recognition database known as the Interstate Photo System will have collected 52 million of our faces by the end of 2015.  But that is only a small part of the story.  According to Edward Snowden, the NSA has been using advanced facial recognition technology for years.  In addition, as you will see below, advertising companies are starting to use Minority Report-style face scanners in their billboards and many large corporations see facial recognition technology as a tool that they can use to serve their customers better.  Someday soon it may become virtually impossible to go out in public in a major U.S. city without having your face recorded.  Is that the kind of society that we want?

To the FBI, this technology does not represent an invasion of privacy.  Rather, they are very proud of the fact that they are not going to be so dependent on fingerprinting any longer.  The FBI has been developing the Next Generation Identification System for years, and this month it was announced that it is finally fully operational

The federal government’s Next Generation Identification System — a biometric database that relies largely on facial-recognition technology — is now fully operational, the FBI announced Monday.

“This effort is a significant step forward for the criminal justice community in utilizing biometrics as an investigative enabler,” the FBI said in a statement.

The latest advance in the technology gives users the ability to receive “ongoing status notifications” about individuals’ criminal histories, the FBI said. That means if, for instance, a teacher commits an offense, law enforcement can be immediately informed — and then pass that information on to administrators.

It’s to monitor criminal histories of those “in positions of trust,” the FBI said.

As part of this new system, every American will eventually be assigned a “Universal Control Number”.

Does that sound creepy to you?

Even mainstream news reports are admitting that it sounds like something out of a science fiction movie

It aims to eventually replace fingerprinting with a complex array of biometrics, assigning everyone with a “Universal Control Number”, in what sounds like a plotline from a sci-fi movie.

And it won’t just be the FBI using this database.

According to Fox News, more than 18,000 law enforcement agencies will have access to this information…

More than 18,000 law enforcement agencies and other authorized criminal justice partners across the country will have access to the system 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

So if your face is scanned somewhere or you do something noteworthy that is registered by the system, virtually every law enforcement agency in the country will instantly know about it.

Pretty scary stuff, eh?

But the FBI is actually lagging far behind the NSA.

According to Edward Snowden, the NSA has been using “sophisticated facial recognition programs” for many years

The National Security Agency is harvesting huge numbers of images of people from communications that it intercepts through its global surveillance operations for use in sophisticated facial recognition programs, according to top-secret documents.

The spy agency’s reliance on facial recognition technology has grown significantly over the last four years as the agency has turned to new software to exploit the flood of images included in emails, text messages, social media, videoconferences and other communications, the N.S.A. documents reveal. Agency officials believe that technological advances could revolutionize the way that the N.S.A. finds intelligence targets around the world, the documents show.

Do you remember that stuff you saw in the Jason Bourne movies about how the NSA can track people?

Well, most of that stuff is real.

If you don’t like it, that is just too bad.  At this point not even Congress has much control over what the NSA does.

And there are police departments around the nation that are also way ahead of the FBI.

For example, just check out what has been going on in southern California

In a single second, law enforcement agents can match a suspect against millions upon millions of profiles in vast detailed databases stored on the cloud. It’s all done using facial recognition, and in Southern California it’s already occurring.

Imagine the police taking a picture: any picture of a person, anywhere, and matching it on the spot in less than a second to a personalized profile, scanning millions upon millions of entries from within vast, intricate databases stored on the cloud.

It’s done with state of the art facial recognition technology, and in Southern California it’s already happening.

At least one law enforcement agency in San Diego is currently using software developed by FaceFirst, a division of nearby Camarillo, California’s Airborne Biometrics Group. It can positively identify anyone, as long as physical data about a person’s facial features is stored somewhere the police can access. Though that pool of potential matches could include millions, the company says that by using the “best available facial recognition algorithms” they can scour that data set in a fraction of a second in order to send authorities all known intelligence about anyone who enters a camera’s field of vision.

Widespread use of facial recognition technology by our law enforcement authorities is becoming a way of life.

If the American people don’t like this, they need to stand up and say something.

But instead, in an era of widespread Internet hacking and identity theft, many Americans are actually clamoring for the implementation of more biometric identification.

Facial recognition in, privacy out...

For instance, the following is a brief excerpt from a Fox News article entitled “Biometric security can’t come soon enough for some people“…

In a world where nearly every ATM now uses an operating system without any technical support, where a bug can force every user of the Internet to change the password to every account they’ve ever owned overnight, where cyber-attacks and identity theft grow more menacing every day, the ability to use your voice, your finger, your face or some combination of the three to log into your e-mail, your social media feed or your checking account allows you to ensure it’s very difficult for someone else to pretend they’re you.

As financial institutions adopt this kind of technology, a day may come when virtually all of us are required to have our faces scanned at the checkout counter.

That may sound crazy to you, but according to the Daily Mail a company in Finland has already launched this technology…

Bank cards are already being replaced by phones and wristbands that have payment technology built-in but the latest threat to the lowly plastic in your pocket could be your face.

A Finnish startup called Uniqul has launched what it calls the first ever payment platform based on facial recognition.

The system doesn’t require a wallet, bank card or phone – instead a camera is positioned at the checkout and takes a photo of a shopper’s face when they are ready to pay.

It then scans a database for the face and matches it to stored payment details in order to complete the transaction.

And advertisers are even more eager to adopt facial recognition technology.  In fact, the kind of face scanning billboards that we saw in “Minority Report” are already a reality.  For example, a company called Amscreen says that it already has more than 6,000 face scanning digital screens that are being viewed by approximately 50 million people each week…

Advertising network Amscreen recently launched a unique face-detection technology, originally developed by automated audience measurement firm Quividi.

Cameras have been installed in Amscreen’s digital advertising displays that can scan a person’s face and determine their gender, age, date, time and volume of the viewers.

This is so adverts are served to the most appropriate audience.

Amscreen already has over 6,000 digital screens seen by a weekly audience of over 50 million people.

Even dating websites are starting to use facial recognition technology at this point.

Just check out what Match.com has been doing…

Popular dating site Match.com will use photos of users’ exes to determine which type of look they’re attracted to in order to find them a dating match.

The dating site has partnered with Three Day Rule, a Los Angeles-based matchmaking service, which has dating experts that act as personal dating concierges who hand-select and personally meet every potential match before making a formal introduction to clients, Mashable reports.

Members of Match.com will be able to upgrade to Three Day Rule’s premium service which will ask users to send pictures of exes to determine the type of look they’re attracted to. Three Day Rule will then use facial-recognition technology in an effort to help users find dates.

Our world is changing at a faster pace than ever before.

Powerful new technologies are literally being introduced every single day now, and the future is probably going to look far different than any of us are imagining.

But with all of this new technology, will we end up losing what little personal privacy that we have left?

NORM ‘n’ AL Note:  That’s what is known as a rhetorical question, folks. We already know the answer as the question is asked.

American James Foley is brutally killed by ISIS for all the world to see, and Obama’s Justice Department is going to “investigate.” Does this man have nothing to offer the USA except an “investigation” while he resumes his golf practice?

Attorney General Eric Holder on Thursday announced that the Department of Justice has “an open criminal investigation” into the brutal killing of photojournalist James Foley by Islamic militants.

“Those who would perpetrate such acts need to understand something,” Holder said in Washington.

“This Justice Department, this Department of Defense, this nation — we have long memories and our reach is very wide,” he said. “We will not forget what happened and people will be held accountable, one way or the other.”

A video posted online Tuesday showed a militant with the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) beheading Foley, a freelance journalist who went missing in Syria in November, 2012.

Speaking in Denver on Wednesday, FBI Director James Comey said his agency has been investigating Foley’s kidnapping for two years.

Comey, who has been FBI director for nearly a year, said of ISIS the “savages have turned it into a homicide investigation.”

“These are people that make ordinary terrorists look civilized,” Comey added.

Administration officials note the investigation is broad.

“We have intelligence resources, we have diplomatic resources, we have military resources; we will spare no effort to hold accountable those people responsible for his death,” State Department spokeswoman Marie Harf said Wednesday. [NORM ‘n’ AL Note: Marie, dear, either get a clue about what’s going on, or don’t bother retelling us what we have heard many, many times in the past several years. While you and the entire State Department may believe our intelligence, diplomatic, and military resources really mean something, the ISIS terrorists do not believe a word of it. They have no reason to believe it. They have watched us spend untold amounts of money in Iraq; they watched as we flew home the bodies of thousands of our finest young men in uniform; and then they watched as we pulled out of Iraq and we ALL left for home, giving ISIS not only many billions of dollars worth of military equipment and armament left on the ground there, but a welcome mat to come in and take over Iraq altogether. These people respect nothing but retaliation in kind. Military might. When we do not retaliate we are seen as weak. Why is that so hard to understand?]

[by Jesse Byrnes, writing for THE HILL.COM]

NORM ‘n’ AL Note:  We would like to respectfully make an observation: We don’t need another investigation! We have witnessed not just a criminal act by ISIS, but an ACT OF WAR! When Pearl Harbor was attacked by the Japanese in 1941, did we start an investigation to find out who gave the attack order? No…we retaliated because that attack was an act of war. ISIS has made it abundantly clear that its goal is elimination of its perceived enemy. The US is one of its enemies…but all the US can think of to do is begin an investigation. The assault on our embassy in Benghazi, Libya, was another act of war, and our government has not yet even begun its formal investigation!

We have watched as ISIS continues to grow and expand its territory with little hindrance, trying to take over the Iraq that thousands of Americans bled and died in. ISIS is even using all the equipment and armament the US left behind when it told the Iraqis, “Your war is over. We’re leaving.”  We have watched as Russia continues to expand its territory with NO hindrance from the US or anyone else.

We have long called the USA “the land of the free and the home of the brave.” Our government continues to do all it can to make us less free by asserting its will over the people, and the brave just sit back and take it. Our wonderful new healthcare program is a prime example of the government doing just that.

Our enemies are going to get much bolder, folks, when we watch them assault us, kill us, and we do nothing to stop the carnage.

We should not investigate an act of war, we should retaliate immediately upon its cowardly perpetrators. We know who they are…they’re the ones wearing the masks. They are the ones who are now sure that America has lost whatever power and will to use it that it may have had in the past. “All they do when we kill them or attack them is start another investigation! Let us give them many more deaths to investigate!”
