Son of Hamas founder unmasks and denounces the Hamas organization…

Understanding Hamas...

Mosab Hassan Yousef is the son of a Hamas founder…a son who is paying an extremely high price for renouncing his father’s beliefs.

Mosab Hassan Yousef is a Christian convert and author of Son of Hamas. In an interview with Fox News, he said Hamas militants seek to take over the Middle East, and do not care how many lives are lost in order to do so.

“Hamas does not care about the lives of Palestinians, does not care about the lives of Israelis or Americans. They don’t care about their own lives. They consider dying for the sake of their ideology a way of worship,” Yousef said.

Though groomed from a young age to become a Hamas militant, Yousef became disenchanted with the mission of the group and adopted Christianity, losing everything he had in the process.

“In the mosques, Hamas taught us that without shedding innocent blood for the sake of the ideology, we wouldn’t be able to build an Islamic state. They were preparing us from the age as young as five years old. This is the ideology that Hamas was feeding us. And honestly it’s impossible almost for anybody to break through and see the truth and real face of Hamas and be able to leave at some point. As you see in my case, I had to lose everything just to say no to Hamas. And today when I look at the children of Gaza and I know what they’re told, I know that they have no choices either,” Yousef said.

It is very sobering to listen to this knowledgeable young man speak of his personal experience with Hamas. “They care nothing at all for the lives of even their own people,” he says. “The more they can show the citizens of Gaza suffering and dying in this war, the more sympathy they hope to find among the world’s countries.”

Perhaps now you can begin to understand why Israel’s only choice is to destroy Hamas as an enemy…destroy its tunnels into Israel, and destroy its ability to dig more of them. Israel must obliterate this enemy, incapacitate it entirely.

The 72-hour cease-fire which was arranged to begin yesterday, Friday, lasted less than two hours before Hamas began firing rockets into Israel again. Why would Hamas agree to a “humanitarian three-day cease-fire” and then fire rockets into Israel again after less than two hours? BECAUSE HAMAS IS NOT A RATIONAL ENEMY. Hamas does not live life, or look at life, like rational people do. Rational people treasure life and want to nurture it. Hamas — and Al Qaeda, and ISIS, and all the other radical Islamic organizations — treasure death. Their religion tells them that dying in the cause of Islam is the highest honor.

Do you see now the difference, the most fundamental difference, between Christianity and Islam? Christianity tells us of a God of love, a God who became a man and went to the cross to show that love. Islam tells us nothing of love, but only of hate and oppression and death. Do you know what could convince Mosab Yousef to leave Islam and its hate, and convert to Christianity? It could only be the fundamental difference between love and hate, the difference between a “death is better than life” false religion and a faith that PROVED life was better than death when the Savior came back to life through His resurrection.

If you have never had to confront someone who is not rational, who does not respond with common sense or thought processes to anything you say, then you will have trouble understanding Hamas. But if you have ever had to deal with, for example, an intoxicated person, or a mentally ill person, or someone with Alzheimer’s, then you know a little about what irrationality is like. It can be extremely difficult and frustrating.

In the situation in Gaza, not only is the enemy not rational, but here the enemy is also shooting to kill.

If Hamas wants death so badly, Israel will give it to them.
