How stupid does our government think we are? (Answer: Very stupid.)

It’s just as unbelievable as it sounds.

The Obama Administration’s IRS is claiming it “lost” Lois Lerner’s emails – the former senior IRS official at the center of the targeting scandal.

But it didn’t lose all of her emails, just the important ones. Just the ones to and from the White House, federal agencies, and Democrat Members of Congress. And just the ones from the two years at the height of the targeting of conservative and pro-life Americans.

Our illustrious president...This Administration thinks the American people will believe anything.

We won’t be fooled.

We’re in federal court demanding the truth, representing 41 organizations in our lawsuit against the IRS. We’re aggressively pursuing multiple legal avenues to get the “lost” emails. We’re also demanding a Special Counsel – an independent prosecutor to investigate the abuse.

This Administration clearly can’t be trusted to investigate itself.

NORM ‘n’ AL Note: This administration clearly can’t be trusted, period. Not on any question, not on any issue, not on any day of the week.  Remember Obama’s promise at the start of his administration, when he said he would deliver “the most transparent administration in history”? Remember that other big promise, “if you want to keep your health plan, you can keep your plan”? We have a president, folks, who will say ANYTHING he thinks we want to hear and that he can get away with. He has no regard whatever for truth, honesty, personal integrity, or doing what is right for the USA and its citizens. On the other hand, he has made it very easy to know when he’s lying. It’s when his lips are moving.
